I started going to John Lane in early 2017, and I must say the staff is always so friendly and professional. Great customer service! Minimal wait times if any. Theresa cares about making sure my hair is and stays healthy. She is very knowledgeable about each product that she uses and always explains the benefit of what it does for my hair. I know I’m in good hands. The new location is simply immaculate. From the area, to the shampoo bowls and even the styling chairs. Everything about the studio is amazing! I will definitely be a forever client.

Critical: ProfessionalismI had come here before a few years ago and had a great experience so decided to come back. Had an appt for 10:30 am and arrived about 10 mins early. Was told the person doing my hair (Lewis) wasn’t even there yet. I continued to wait almost 45 mins and he still hadn’t got there. Not sure why you’d schedule a client for a certain time and make zero effort to show up on time. I ended up walking out and heard nothing from them. Never got a sorry or anything so running way late must be normal for them. He probably still hasn’t showed up! It’s unfortunate since it’s hard to find a decent natural hair salon in Nashville and I did love it the first time I came here. Today was my first time ever getting sew ins and let me tell you, she did absolutely amazing. I’ve never loved my hair more. She was super nice and made sure I was okay the whole time, and with it being my first time she even showed me how to keep it maintained. The lady who did my hair was named Toya I think and she did absolutely amazing. Will for sure recommend to everyone

Great salon for natural/African american hair! I saw this girl at a restaurant who had the most beautiful crochet braids and I had to ask where she got it done. She said John Lane salon. I instantly did my research and decided to book an appointment. Chiara did a two strand twist on my hair and it turned out fabulous!! She was very personable and took a real interest in my hair. She did the best wash/head scratch I have ever received! The wait time was short, I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving and the stylist took her time on my hair! I have already booked another appointment to get crochet braids done!! This salon has gained a new customer!

Exceptional salon! Very professional and friendly staff. Minimum waiting times and reasonable prices. The staff are very knowledgeable in their crafts. It’s someone there who can address any hair need from natural hair, cutting styles, coloring, extensions, and braiding. I have been a loyal customer since they opened and have zero complaints. They even do eye brow threading!!!!! Would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who ask!
