I just moved to the Sussex area and have been getting powder dip nails for years prior to this. I tried Sussex nails for the first time and thought I found a great new place. The dip itself was a great experience. The problem I’ve discovered is the quality hasn’t held up. 1 week in, I had a crack across almost every nail and some chips. I’m now not even to 2 weeks in and some of my nails have completely cracked off (down to my real nail too). I called and explained my experience and all I was told was they don’t offer any guarantee on their nails. No offer to fix it or schedule an appointment. Nothing, they just hung up after I explained to them what happened. Not even an apology. I’m very disappointed that Sussex Nails doesn’t stand behind their products or work. This may have just been a bad batch of powder or something wrong with the process they did, but I’ve just not had dip crack, break and chip this badly ever. I’m either looking for a new place or going back to Love Nails.

I made an appointment for 2 gel manicures for me and my mom & when we arrived, my mom decided she wanted a pedicure instead, but would need her gel soaked off. There were maybe 3 cars in the entire parking lot (not busy) and we were there 2 and a half hours before they closed for a scheduled appointment. We were turned away because the man said they didn’t have time for the soak. Horrible customer service. After looking at these reviews, a lot of similar feedback on the same individual. This was my first time here, I won’t be back.

I took my daughter to Sussex Nails for her birthday and we both had both had French gel manicures. Four days later my daughter’s nails started to chip and looked terrible. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do. Very dissatisfied with the service. Do not.recommend. French manicures, Gel manicures

I love this place, they do a great job. I’ve been coming here for over a year and have never had a bad pedicure. The foot and leg massage you get with a regular pedicure are fantastic, my favorite part. The people that have given me pedicures are all friendly, not real talkative, but I don’t come for the conversation, I come to relax and enjoy it. I’ve been to places where the person talks the whole time and I don’t like that, I want to just sit back, turn on the massage chair and enjoy the pedicure.
