Alissa gave me a great new look for the fall! She was wonderful! She talked about ways to take care of my hair that I didn’t think about and made recommendations for products and tools that will make my life easier! I will definitely be returning for my next hair cut. Jersey Waves Salon was clean, the staff was very professional, and they offer a beverage while you wait (which wasn’t ling) which was great!

While my stylist was very friendly, she did not accurately measure my hair on each side so it was evenly cut across the bottom. I paid extra for a wash, cut, and dry. She barely shampooed my hair and gave me less than a 5 minute blow dry with no styling at all and in the opposite direction I explained I styled my hair. She never showed me the end result from the back. I could not tell until I got back to my grandfather’s house that the trim on the back was completely crooked and much shorter than we discussed or where I showed her explicitly not to cut it shorter. Since I do not live in the area I was forced to go to another salon and pay for another trim to have it fixed. I contacted the Jersey waves salon the day of my trim and was told the manager would contact me for a credit asap, which has now been over a week. Bummed out because otherwise the salon is clean and nice and the staff was pleasant. Just disappointed with the wash, dry, and uneven cut.

My teen daughter will not go anywhere else to get her hair done! She will only use Jocelyn for her cuts and Kayla for her dye. These girls are GREAT!

I took my girls there for cuts and they did a nice job. The stylist was very sweet to them, listened to what they wanted and treated them with respect. One of the cuts was not exactly what we wanted and she could have taken more time to get it right but overall it’s a nice salon.
