I had my hair done my Madison, but let me tell you, the experience I had here is a 10/10! The staff was so welcoming and just amazing to be around! Madison who did my hair did a fantastic job! I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted but she knew! I absolutely love my hair now! It it so healthy and soft after she dyed it! I don’t think I’ll ever let anyone else touch my hair! If you need anything at all come here! Everyone is so talented and creative! Since then, I have recommended them to everyone! And will continue to come to this salon and have my hair done by Madison! She is amazing!!! She nailed every single detail within what I had talked to her about! Please go check her out! You won’t regret it!

Madison does a fabulous job on both my and my daughter’s hair. She truly listens, communicates, and executes exactly what you want. We all walk out happy! The entire experience at Jakob’s is a happy one. The owner is deeply involved and you walk out feeling pampered and appreciated. They are “teachers” and constantly give tips on how to take care of your hair on your own.

Jakob’s work remains the best on the Gulf Coast. A few sessions ago we added hair extensions for thickness and a little length, & I have been so pleasantly surprised at how easy the grow out and maintenance has been through the summer. He’s very careful and purposeful with every detail on YOUR head. I ended up with a couple hand tied rows, and then we saw I was thinner on one side of my head, he suggested letting him bead in a weft of blonde for a pop of contrast. Shape, placement, the haircut after install, and staying realistic with how you already maintain your own hair are all “small” things that he’s keeping in mind with his work-so you have the best experience possible for the longest amount of time between sessions. I’m grateful to have found someone so true to his craft.

I have had the most amazing experience at Jakob Dozen Hairdressers! Their entire team listens, understands what you are wanting, and does the best thing for your hair! Jakob and his team are the best of the best. I am OBSESSED with my Hairdreams Extensions. I have had extensions for over 3 years, but recently I started going to Jakob and he introduced me to Hairdreams – WOW WOW WOW. My actual hair got healthier WITH the Hairdreams Extensions. I call him “Merlin”, because he works magic! They look so natural, and I’m so thankful for that. I feel so confident with him as my hair stylist and with these extensions! I cannot say enough positive things about his team or these extensions!

If you are searching for a salon that can meet all of your hair needs and wants this is THE place. I personally went in with a hair crisis…my hair has broken off due to over coloring and stress. The ENTIRE staff made me feel very welcome and went out of their way to help me. The ladies are very knowledgeable, and do amazing work! They only want the very best for you. (No worries if you are tender headed!) Jakob and Jake came up with a plan to help my hair heal and become healthy again. So don’t loose hope! They are wonderful. You will be so glad you discovered this gem of a salon! Don’t skip over the BEST to go to the rest!

Worst hairdresser I have ever had to experience. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I was explaining to one of the other hairdressers how to cut my sister’s hair (who is mentally ill) and he chimed in and said for us to move along down the road and I said you can’t speak to me that way and he shouted at me very loudly to get the hell out out of his salon and threatened to call the cop. SO RUDE!!!!!! So unprofessional. Don’t waist your time there.

He is great with consultations and makeovers !!I came to him almost 2 years ago with a huge mess on my head. Before Jakob was recommended to me by a friend, I had unfortunately gone to another local salon for highlights and left there with “cheetah print ” on most of my roots instead of highlights. I was horrified and in tears. She made it worse trying to “fix” it. I wore a hat every day until my appointment with Jakob. Needless to say, Jakob was a breath of fresh air. He was so patient and took his time explaining what exactly he would have to do with my hair to achieve what I desired. My first appointment with him was a huge success. Now, I am a regular, lifetime client !! He always does a fabulous job on my highlights, lowlights, haircuts and with styling it as well.
