Aloha, I am Jacqueline Rose, also known as JC. I am a hair & makeup artist here on Maui. I work on location for photoshoots, weddings, and film productions. I am good with all hair & skin types, and I will make you feel and look beautiful. I have worked many high end jobs doing hair & makeup, including NYC fashion week, commercials for local companies and for big corporations such as Natures Bounty and Ship Go, published weddings featured in “The Knot”, musicians for music videos and concerts, celebrities for photoshoots and gatherings, etc. I do a variety of hair color, hair treatments, and hair extensions as well. I hired Jacqueline to do my hair and makeup for my Maui elopement, and I could not have been happier with my decision! She was professional and prompt with replies throughout the planning process, and (seemingly) happily woke up extra early on my special day to ensure I was ready for my sunrise ceremony! I requested a relaxed boho-inspired half up hairstyle and she exceeded my expectations (it was beautiful!!!), but the makeup is where she really won me over! I am particular about wedding makeup and, having recently flown in from out of town, did not have an opportunity to do a trial run. I really wanted my wedding makeup to highlight my natural features while remaining subtle and not overpowering. She listened carefully to this request and delivered exactly that. She displayed exceptional attention to detail, was a pleasure to chat with while getting ready, and appeared to truly care that I was happy with the final look. Do not hesitate to book JC!! She was so amazing, not only in her hair and makeup skills but overall as a person! She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and assisted in other areas of the wedding just because she is sweet. My friends loved my makeup so much from the trial (day before my wedding) that they had her do their makeup as well on the day of. She was able to accommodate them too!
