One of my favorite spas to get a massage. I’ve been here three times and I’ll definitely be going back. They have a steam room and sauna and a beautiful lounge area where you can relax before or after your treatment & sip tea / eat snacks they provide. Great local spot to support!

This spa is gorgeous and all the staff are lovely. The energy is so calming and it is impossible not to wake away with a beautiful glow. Highly recommend it to all of my friends and family.

This spa is BEAUTIFUL! The facial is beyond any other I have had and I totally use it as an excuse to stay and hang out all day in the sauna and lounge area.

Critical: Communication, QualityUsed to love this place when it was on Fillmore Street. Went in for a recent signature massage in Marin, and sadly was quite disappointed. The massage therapist rushed the appointment, and when I asked if she could apply more pressure, her response was: “I’m just getting started.” Unfortunately the pressure remained light for the duration of the 90-minute massage. The visit also felt mechanical (which was especially unexpected given how long we’ve been in social isolation with the pandemic) rather than warm and welcoming. Sort of a next, check, next, check vibe. Sauna was missing tools to add steam/increase heat. Finally, upon checkout and payment, I was asked how the service was. I replied, “okay.” The clerk didn’t ask for more information, what could be improved, or seem phased at all by my response. She simply asked how much did I want to leave in gratuity. In sum, the experience didn’t leave me desiring a trip back (commuting from SF) or merit the cost for the experience. Much better options in SF in the $200-$300 range IMO. I get it (firsthand) that it’s its own adventure returning to providing services post-pandemic. I simply expected a more consumer-friendly professional experience given the human-centric nature of the business and the reputation of the brand.Used to love this place when it was on Fillmore Street. I had the most “aaahhhsome” experience at this beautiful, new spa. From the moment I walked into the reception area, I knew I was in for a treat! The space itself is lovely and feels super tranquil and relaxing – the white walls and beautiful floors throughout make it feel modern and clean. And they truly didn’t miss a trick in taking every opportunity to turn a spa treatment into a whole spa experience: the changing area/showers are very spacious and well appointed, and the waiting/lounge area with the beautiful water views and deck (and delicious, healthy snacks) really made my before-and-after treatment time almost as lovely and therapeutic as the massage itself! And my massage was fantastic and truly just what I needed after a hectic workday – Cannot wait to return to I.O Marin, my new, “go-to” spa!

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismVery disappointing. 1. My wife booked a surprise massage for me for Christmas and despite explicitly telling staff NOT to send me a text on my phone, they went ahead and sent a message ruining the surprise gift. 2. Despite my wife calling the morning of my scheduled massage and receiving confirmation of my appointment, I was told that there was no record of an appointment when I presented to the appointment.Very disappointing. 1. I had a wonderful 90-minute deep tissue massage at IO. The space is so beautiful and calming. Got to lounge on the deck while waiting for my appointment and shopped some great products that I had never seen before. My massage therapist and staff were all very hospitable, professional and knowledgeable. This is a great place for a girls’ day out or for bonding with your daughter and/or mom. So excited that IO has come to Marin!

Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed a luxurious, amazing facial, one of my best yet (and I’ve had more than a few). Facilities are spacious, well appointed, bright, and calming. Staff professional and friendly. Enjoyed the experience from beginning to end. Marin doesn’t have any spa quite like this.

Have been a few times now and love it. Calm & pretty facilities with a beautiful outdoor deck looking out to Mt Tam and the water. So relaxing!

This is my go-to spa in the Bay Area. The lounging area is smaller than most spas I’ve been to, but it’s right in Larkspur landing which has great shopping and food to wander through pre or post service. The Facialist and Masseurs are always amazing.
