In LOVE with my nails! I’m from out of town so I called the salon to see if they had any openings and I was able to immediately go. I showed Jenny a picture off Pinterest and she did exactly what I wanted! She was kind, gentle and very willing to work with me when I changed my mind. This is the greatest place! Sweet family atmosphere in the shop where customers are truly valued. The nail technicians really take care of you and make sure you get what you want. I am from out of town and have visited here twice while traveling, and the shop owners remembered me even though my visits were months apart. There’s nowhere else I’m going for my pedicures in Charleston!

Great prices, best customer service, and every employee is great at what they do. I always show Jenny a picture of nails from Pinterest and they always turn out perfect. Recently got a lash lift with Jenny and have not had to wear mascara in over a month, very affordable and only requires a dye once a month. I can’t say enough about this place- if you are new to the area and are looking for a salon this is the place to go. They also offer facials! I have been in Charleston for a couple of years now and this is hands down the BEST salon. Great prices, best customer service, and every employee is great at what they do. I always show Jenny a picture of nails from Pinterest and they always turn out perfect. Recently got a lash lift with Jenny and have not had to wear mascara in over a month, very affordable and only requires a dye once a month. I don’t usually leave reviews but I wish I knew more about Holy City Nails before my experience I had as a new customer. I went here to get a full set of acrylics, the salon was very dirty and the acrylics were rushed so there was some on my cuticles and skin. However, I thought they were ok, until my nails started lifting less than a week after I got them. I went back to the salon to ask them to fix it and they did so by doing a fill in. They blamed the lifting because of the shape of my nail (even though I haven’t had this problem previously) and still charged me. Fast forward three weeks and the second set held up well. I went to get a refill at a different salon with my friend and when they removed the gel polish, four of my acrylics had had water trapped under them from the last refill at Holy City. Two of my nails had bacteria growing underneath and were green! I was appalled and had never had this happen before in the 6 years I’ve been getting acrylics until I came here. Seriously would not recommend this place, the cleanliness should have been enough of a red flag.

To be honest, I would only use her for the SNS powder/dip nails though and only go at a time they are not busy (after work/midday weekends), because they will rush. Had all different people do pedicures and they have been great!

Save your money! I wish I wasn’t writing this. After a lot of thought over the last two days, I feel like I would have wanted to know. When I arrived I was suspicious because I was the only one there. I chalked it up to being a Sunday afternoon. They put me in the Pedi chair and a very young man(Looked 14, I asked she said He was “18”) started to take my polish off of my toes. In the meantime, the lady comes over and puts the thingys on my nails to soke off my gel polish. So the entire time I’m in the pedi chair I cannot use my hands for anything. Just had to watch basketball on the tv. I hate BBall! Afterward, the boy awkwardly rubbed my legs and feet the lady came back. She didn’t even buff my toe nails and the polish looks very wavy. Then it was time for the nails. She did a quick manicure. Slapped on some polish. No arm massage at all. Even though there were big bottles of lotion on every table?? I had to keep putting my hands in the dryer for 2-3 times. Not sure what kind of gel polish they use, but that’s the reason I get gel so I don’t have to wait for them to dry. Anyway, I looked at them and there was a space between my cuticle and polish. Like I needed to get my nails done?? She said that’s how it’s supposed to look?? Her mom over heard us and came rushing over and said I can redo them. I thought great this is going to take even longer. But agreed. She filed one coat off and then painted a fresh coat over the top and I had to dry 2-3 more times for a minute and a half each time. I agreed that they looked better just to get out of there. This weird experience set me back $80 and 2 hours of my life. Will NOT be returning.

Had an excellent experience visiting Holy Nails and Spa! The service was very clean, friendly, and professional. Anna did a dipping powder with tips for me and they look and feel perfect. The outside of the building is unassuming, but the inside is very clean and comfortable. The affordable cost reflected the high quality service and experience that it purchased as well. Would highly recommend this salon to anyone in The area or Charleston!

I am usually not one to bash businesses. So I’ll start with the positive fact this looks family owned and operated, and the father gives an amazing leg and foot massage before your actual pedicure. I might have gone back just for that BUT this woman actually Butchered my nails… hands AND feet. None were evenly cut, gel paint all in my cuticle area etc. I had to direct her that one side of my nails on each hand should not have a weird shape (I like square and she was filing where the corners were angled). She was very nice, don’t get me wrong. But I left my last place for poor product, and this was poor performance to which I cannot give a second chance. Wish I had looked at some of the pics posted prior to booking or I may have known better than to do so. Best of luck to them but I will not be back.
