Hollywood Hair and Nails is a multi-award-winning salon that was established in 2007. Hollywood’s sole purpose is to give back to the community. Our service providers are experienced, educated, and most of all, welcoming to everyone that comes through our doors. Clients can come in to get anything from a cut and color to a light trim or shaping, a full set of acrylic nails to a polish change, be educated on utilizing specific products for styling your hair to teaching one how to properly apply makeup. Many groups have also taken advantage of all we offer such as birthdays and beautiful weddings. We look forward to seeing you and can’t wait to give you the Hollywood treatment.

Janelle does a wonderful job with my hair. I always leave with a great cut & color and have gotten a lot of compliments since I started coming here. My hair is also much healthier, thicker, and actually grows now because they use color that isn’t nearly as damaging as other places. I could NEVER say anything bad about this place. Wendy has cut mine and my girls’ hair for years. When my oldest was about 3, she could not tolerate haircuts at all. Wendy was able to work her magic! We will always promote this salon for the people and the wonderful work they do!

I am sharing this to hopefully help the next person. I decided to get another perm, which I have had one before, but never went to Maria. She gave an idea of trying the braided perm instead of the rollers. She said she had never done it before which it shows in my hair. My hair is colored and now that I have had a different hair dresser reach out to me after multiple attempts to get ahold of Maria I was informed that there’s a certain process to take for a braided perm, and for colored hair. The solution was left on my hair for 30 minutes and I was never checked in during this time of waiting. My hair was fried the moment the braids were taken out. My roots felt like sand paper and after a week my hair was falling out in clumps. No matter what hair masks, treatments, etc that I tried never helped. I called and she told me to come in and get my hair trimmed (which it wasn’t when I began the perm). I went in and she suggested to get another perm since my curls weren’t what was expected. Along with her boss suggesting I get repermed a week and a half after; the hair stylist that reached out to me said if I got that my hair would have fallen out way more than what it is now. My hair has now broken off at the roots and i have hair strands sticking strait out of my head. I can’t wear my hair down because it’s so apparent and I have called and tried to get in touch with Maria and I have had no returned phone calls. I do not think she is a professional hair stylist and I personally do not think the money I paid was worth it because I now know she is not as knowledged as she presents herself. I will not be going back and I appreciate anyone who read this.
