Dean does fantastic work! I got some tattoos from him and his line work is great. My wife got her first tattoo from him and it’s literally one of the best tattoos I’ve ever seen; it looks like it was machine printed and I’m not just saying that because it’s my wife. His rate isn’t bad and he works quickly so you can get a lot of work done for a good price. I definitely want to use him again. All this isn’t to say anything bad about the other artists here, saw a super nice piece Will was working on, but Dean was recommended because of what my wife and I wanted and we were very happy with his work.

Critical: ProfessionalismWe called several days ago to ask about scheduling an appointment, were told we could just walk in. We explained the tattoo we wanted and were told to come in. Got into shop and the guy behind the counter told me I would need an appointment and when I explained that I had called and was not told that he was very short and very rude. I’m appalled at this shops lack of customer service or basic manners. I was already worried about the quality of their work and their attitudes just confirmed that Hill City tattoo would definitely not be getting my money. Hopefully somebody teaches these “men” basic manners and decency. Super clean line work, not heavy handed, and work fast.Lauren has been working on a cover up on my chest and makes some of the most uncomfortable spots feel not as painful.Will has an awesome style and great creative mind, I’ve given him small ideas and he knocks it out of the park every time.Only shop I let touch me with a needle.
