Really good experience. Not difficult to make appointments. Everyone can do pretty much everything. My 6 year old really needed her hair done and they took her and did exactly what we needed and more importantly the styles LAST! 5 stars! Hairstyling

I’ve been bringing my daughter here for a few years. Everytime up til this year has been fine. Some of those stylist definitely need an attitude adjustment before coming to work. It’s only 2 stylist in there that actually did an amazing job on her hair. The wait time for everything is f**king insane. I understand being short staffed and busy. But dibt schedule an appointment for first thing in the morning them catch an attitude because you started 4 hours after scheduled time. I had one appointment at 11 and the lady didn’t start her hair til 1. It was maybe 2 customers there at the time. Then the stylist had the nerve to tell me “I have a 1 pm appointment “. Okay well if you started my daughter’s hair on time you definitely could have been done before 1.

Awesome hairstyles, but the wait and price is not worth it. You’ll have an appointment scheduled for 12pm and your child will not get started until 2pm, then add the additional 3 hours it takes them to do a natural hairstyle. Oh and all that for $90. No wash, blow dry or beads were included in that price.

The wait was way to long. Customer service was bad. The stylist was nice and did a good job and that was it. I scheduled an appt with a man but he did not call me to tell me the stylist did not come in so I had to reschedule and when I rescheduled for the next day. The stylist was over booked. And the price was to high.

I have been patronizing this salon for a little over 6 months. I usually get my daughter hair style in designed corn rolls which costs me $45 and $65 if the stylist has to take out the previous style. I had mostly good experiences here however on March 29, I was overcharged by the owner. On this day and like usual I was asked at the desk which style I was getting for her. I explained that I wanted triangle box braids and showed a picture of a girl with medium sized triangle box braids. The lady began washing my daughter’s hair so I went to my car quickly. When I get back the stylist tells me that my daughter wanted square parts and beads instead. I said fine whatever she wants. My daughter is 6 years old with hair down to the middle of her back. The stylist begins doing her hair and has done two rows and I notice they are small. I dont complain I just let her continue. The lady is braiding very slow so it took about 4 hours to complete her hair. I was informed by the owner when the stylist was over half way finished with her hair that this style would cost more than her usual. This should have been explained when I was asked what style she was getting. The stylist did a combination of square, and triangle braids. I posted a picture of the style on Facebook and was told by several local stylists that the owner saw me coming and ripped me off. I had my father go back the next day since I was taking my daughter to a party. He explained that the style was not uniform and that the price was ridiculous especially since the stylist did not take her hair out. I was expecting maybe a $10 or $15 price increase but was charged $85 for sloppy box/triangle braids. Instead of refunding the excess money I was charged I was told I can get a discount on my next style. On top of the $85 I also left a $10 so this simple style cost me $95. Unfortunately I will not be receiving the discount because I will not be returning. I am a single mother and will not tolerate being overcharged. This same day children were getting hair added in which was way longer than my daughter’s natural length for much cheaper. The location is very clean and there are a few very nice stylists but I will not be returning. Be careful if the owner smells money on you, you might be taken advantage of!

My grandprincess and niece frequently have their hair done hear. The quality of service was becoming an issue because they were scheduling appointments too close together causing children to have two to four wait times. Appeared to be altering appointments and over scheduling. They have expanded the upstairs area for more service opportunities and better service. Hopefully, lessons were learned and the quality of service will improve giving them the ability to be a five star establishment. The staff have always been respectful and friendly and that makes a difference. The owner is caring and concerned with making her customers comfortable.

Critical: QualityI came in for 2 feedings . The person who did them didn’t put any product on my hair and only feeding half of my cornrows . They were soggy and only lasted a few hours . I usually pay $40 and be satisfied. I paid them $35 and it wasn’t even worth $5. I recommend better braider .

In 2018 I got my hair done here (I’m a child) I was getting my hair done upstairs with the other children,And The Person Who did my hair was , pulling my hair and yanking me side to side and bullying me saying stuff like: u have nappy hair, stop being a cry baby, stop moving little girl And other harsh things ,Also my mom wanted faux locs nd they did a HORRIBLE job my mom hair is black and she wanted blonde locs the original plan was to tuck her hair into the blonde and they didn’t do that and it was lumpy, to heavy ,frizzy pls do not go here unless u want them to hit and hurt ur child, mentally and physically.
