I read the reviews and decided to view this establishment based on my own experience. The salon is clean but I didn’t feel welcomed there. It became obvious that if you had an appointment or were a regular customer you were treated differently- better and the service was thorough. (I had read that in a few reviews and would agree with that). My technician only offered me water after she had been servicing another customer and she was providing them with water. I also felt rushed by my technician Tammy so that she could move on to her regular customer who was waiting for her. Furthermore, I took a close up look at my pedicure and the polish is a bit sloppy, it doesn’t even cover my entire nail on some of my toes. Huge disappointment. But they should realize that if you provide equal service and are welcoming the new customers would become the established customers.

I absolutely love this place!! From the moment I called, the lady I talked to was very nice. When I got to the shop, everyone was very friendly and they actually talk to you. Everyone had a smile the whole time and they greeted every customer. Everyone was taken care of in a timely manner, it was just an amazing experience. This is definitely my new favorite nail salon. And I will be back for all of my nail and eyebrow services. Great people and great prices for quality service. You can’t ask for anything else. .

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityWaited almost 40 minutes for my scheduled appointment, when the nail technician asked what I’m getting done I told her I’ll be getting a French manicure. She did the first nail and asked me if it was what I wanted and I said that I want the lines thinner. She apparently was not happy with my response Because she rushed me and told me that she had other clients waiting (she was rushing me even though she showed me one design exactly once but got up twice to checkup on her regular costumers meanwhile, and again, all of that after I waited for 40 minutes). Because she was in a rush I didn’t get the design I wanted for my wedding (I told her that I was getting them done for my wedding a day a day later).A week after I found out that my nail broke underneath, probably during the process of her rushing, and she did not fill them in properly because they started falling out less than 2 week later.I do not recommend at all, unless you’re a regular they don’t give a danm.if I could give this place -5 stars I would.-Not on time (wouldn’t mind this if the rest was okay)-Didn’t get a design because she was rushing.-She did not fill in my nails properly.-She had no problem rushing me but had time for her regulars. I’ve been going to Katie Meo for some years. I’ve found to be passive aggressive. I went to get a pedicure and gel manicure for my vacation. She had an attitude, so we got into an altercation where she was very loud, argumentative and stated I’m not going to do your nails. I in turn asked the owner Helen to intervene. She just looked away and didn’t intervene or did she ask her stop arguing with me. (The Customer). And this was all because I asked her not to put too many coats of polish on my nails. I’ll never go again because according to one of her other nail techs who talked my ears off, she allows her to do as she please be a she brings in a lot of money to her business. Well good because I’ll never spend another DIME there!

Had a welcoming experience, but lots of things went a little bit wrong. So i called early on and booked an appt for 3. Salon was very accommodating and fitting us in and getting us all handled at arrival. However, we were getting our nails done for my birthday, since I haven’t had a manicure in years and I left feeling uncomfortable, because it ended with a different woman ringing me up, who did not understand what I was saying, and kept saying my card was declined, and which it wasn’t. Super embarrassing btw! ♀️ My nail tech unsure of name however, she was very kind but I was confused why I didn’t receive the standard manicure things such as moisturizer on my dry hands. After paying and watching my toddler and my friends toddler my friend text me and I asked why I didn’t get my hands moisturized and she said “really! I got a hot towel and moisturizer and my hands massaged” happy bday to me though lol. Oh yeah and one more thing it was super pricey for A basic acrylic and gel manicure unless my daughter who is 4 was charged a lot for hers. That was beautiful but the minute we got home cleanly came off there’s not a single streak of polish, our nails, and all she did was wash her hands. I never called and complained because that’s obnoxious but literally $30 for a toddlers nails that all we had to show for it was a picture bc of how fast is was off. She did nothing to rub it off. Mine are a little smudged and too long for my liking. My nail tech did get sidetracked by a woman who came in to complain and came up to my personal appointment asking for her nails fixed so that could’ve thrown my nail tech off however, I just felt like it was a little bit unfair, and not as I’d hoped for unfortunately.

AWESOME service! My pedicure was perfect. The tech took her time, paid close attention to detail and was very attentive. Most importantly, the salon is clean. I was skeptical because Helens was almost empty one a Saturday afternoon, but the reviews were good so I went for it. I will definitely be back!

Had an appointment for 2:30 didn’t get called until until 2:58 , Henry did my pedicure and honestly it was the best pedicure I’ve ever had, but they aren’t very friendly and my granddaughters pedi wasn’t as good as mine and her lady wasn’t the least bit friendly. It’s been my experience that there isn’t one fabulous nail salon in all of Pikesville.
