To begin, for my personal experience I gave 3 stars as I asked for an updo and I got one even though it was not what I wanted. I was a part of a bridal party for Jessica who also had written a review on this salon. As the bride she should have gotten exactly what she wanted and her hair ended up falling out of the curls before her ceremony even started. It is shown in pictures in her reviews as proof. My hair is shown in the photo and also what I showed to the stylist as what I wanted. Although it is similar is obvious that it’s not what I had asked for. My hair is also very long and would not have been difficult to put in that style. It was not my wedding day though and it looked good enough. What I’m mostly offended by is how the salon responded to my friend, the brides review, saying she is lying about the day. She was there before I got there and I was only about 15 minutes late as I was picking up coffee for the bridal party. Jessica is being portrayed as a mean bridezilla which is far from the truth. She is the most friendly and accommodating person and is honestly just a bride that wanted to look pretty on her wedding day, as she should.

I decided to have my makeup done here for a kids birthday party. Brizeida was absolutely amazing. She made me look like Elsa from frozen for a special little girl’s birthday. She was friendly and super helpful. She even pulled my hair back so it was easier to put my wig on. I would definitely recommend this place.

Critical: ProfessionalismWas treated rudely. Rushed through my color process; color didn’t take & I had to return a second time to be repeated because she didn’t have time to correct her mistake. Then I had to return another day for hair extensions, which were also rushed through. After paying a whopping $1500; I followed all after care instructions. In two to three days my extensions began falling out. I called to speak to the manager and she yelled at me and treated me extremely disrespectful as the so called stylist immediately called her and told her a bunch of lies about the situation to cover her rushed through shottie work. They both were very rude to me and refused to give me a refund, not even an “apology.” Basically they ripped off a 61 year old senior, then very ignorantly said, oh well, that’s on you! The manager/owner is very aggressively rude, ignorant and incredibly disrespectful to her elders, as well as the so called stylist. What was supposed to be a simple touch up, rushed through it, then had to be repeated because she totally rushed through it & it didn’t take. Then she did the same with my extra long hair extensions. She rushed through it; not taking the time to apply them properly, and they began falling out in two to three days. Then lied to her manager about the situation. This was supposed to be a special 61st birthday gift to myself; as I have never done anything like this before. And it turned out to be a nightmare. They basically stole all my money without a care. I have been coming to Mia Testarossa for years and always leave extremely satisfied with my cut and color. I personally see Nikki but the other ladies in the salon and are so kind and really great with their clients too. Nikki always listens to what I am looking for. She is knowledgeable and also super supportive in helping me look my best! Highly recommend!

Zeidy did my bridal look and I was BLOWN away. She gave me exactly what I wanted but somehow still made it better than I could have imagined. My bridal party was also thrilled with their looks.The owner, Jennifer, is great at communicating, and the prices were very reasonable. 10/10 recommend for brides on their big days!

I had this salon come to do the hair and make up for my wedding! The girls at Mia Testarossa were just amazing. They showed up with more than enough girls to get all of my girls ready. They did hair and make up for almost all 9 of my bridesmaids. They also did my hair and make up, my mother’s, my mother in law, and my husband’s gram. They were personal, fun, and were able to practically perfectly replicate all of the hair styles my girls wanted. Payment was easy and communication with them was a breeze! The make up was extremely well done and looked incredibly natural. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone for any occasion!
