I have been going to Happy Nails for a little over two months now. I received a normal set of acrylics and they are still going strong! (Of corse with a fill and polish change every 2 to 3 weeks) Not one nail has popped off, gotten distorted, or anything of the like! Vi, and her husband, are both very talented nail artists. I travel from Astoria and it is very much worth it for their services and products. Can’t beat the price or their friendly conversation either!

My wife and I went in to Downtown Nails for pedicures this afternoon, but they didn’t have time for a couple of walk-ins (which was understandable, they were short staffed and looked like they were pretty booked up for the day). So we looked at what else was close by and saw Happy Nail only like a block away with good reviews decided to go give them a try and I’m really glad we did, they were super friendly, got us right into some pedi spa chairs and their service was fantastic! We will definitely be back. If I had to offer just one very small critique, it would be nice to have just a little bit ventilation in there. When they started doing the color on my wife’s toes, the fumes did start smelling pretty strong after a little while, but I would think that could be easily solved by just keeping their ventilation fans running. Great pedi spot though!

I had a friend recommend this place and after reading the reviews I was excited to try it out, but I was pretty disappointed. My nails turned out great but they really need to work on their customer service and professionalism. I was getting married the next day and when I told the woman what I wanted she kept telling me that it wouldn’t look good and seemed like she wasn’t going to do it. I simply wanted rounded acrylic nails with French tips. After finally convincing her to try it on one of the nails she said she didn’t like it and that it didn’t look good. In the end she did what I asked but I was not expecting to have to convince the nail artist to do what I liked and not what she liked. It was just unnecessary stress and made the appointment an uncomfortable experience.
