I just recently graduated from Hands on Approach. I must say the instructors are awesome and their main goal is to see you succeed. They are very motivating and actually care about the students. I love the fact that from day one they definitely took us out of comfort zones. I was very fortunate to have a class that where all of us were on the same level forming a group chat to help each other along the way. I would highly recommend that if you go to school here you put forth the effort to become family with your classmates. I am so excited for my journey from here and I am very grateful to all the staff that helped me along the way. I did the 120 intern hours and finished my hours before I graduated. So it is all about “how bad do you want it” and I feel it was very beneficial to me as I was able to have more experience in walking into the massage therapist occupation! Thank you all! Thank you especially to Mr. Anthony for teaching us all how to work together as a team!

I have now had 3 massages from the student Kisty Corona and wanted to write about her wonderful hands. She has such great form and technique using not only her hands but her forearms and elbows with just the right amount of pressure. She is professional but very kind and caring. I’m happy for her that she is graduating, but also sad to miss her excellent massages.

The place is a little bit strange they ask for your credit card in advance there is no trust Coustmer will show up . They force you to wear a mask when you totally coming for relaxation massage even though it’s not mandatory anywhere in the United States anymore the General attitude is weird I just decided not to go

I read a nasty review here and wanted to give my two cents. I came to school here in 2007 and then went back a few years later to complete the program. It’s true that there was some information on the state test I didn’t know, but I did pass the first time I took it. I think part of my problem was that I learned back before things had really changed (there used to be a practical test and less hours of schooling and internship) so there were some gaps in my education (because now I know they teach about how to notice proper body alignments, etc) they DO have clients that are in the office all day. It doesn’t take that long to do the internship but it does take a while. I LOVED my teachers here and I recently went back and I saw that some of the same staff is still there. The massage I received recently was awesome! All massage programs are pricey but it’s about the same cost as the nearby university for one semester for any degree. When I was doing my internship we were usually pretty busy. Although, the busier time is the weekend. I loved my education here and I had a great experience!

I have come to Hands on Approach for a deep tissue massage many times and each time has been a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff. I have left there feeling very relaxed. And normally the next day after is even better because the tightness in my shoulders, neck and back will be almost totally gone. Good prices too.

My experience was nothing like the previous reviews. I had a flexible payment plan that wasn’t an issue. They always worked with me as far as my payments and hours were concerned. It was a very straightforward experience. I was required to attend x amount of hours in all the necessary fields. If I was absent, the hours needed to be made up. Each time I was available for intern hours, I was booked a few hours. It took me a little longer than necessary because I was a little lax about it, which was totally ok since there isn’t a time limit on how long it takes you to get your intern hours… Most students finished up in no time. Yes, the intern clinic is a little loud. Yes, its partitioned. It’s part of the learning process. When you go to a teaching facility, you’re paying a very low price and helping a student get licensed. If you’re interested in a spa experience- go pay the full price for a LMT at a spa.

I came in after 4 days of constant anxiety and nearly immediately relaxed. The staff was welcoming and kind. The massage was excellent, and very well priced. The atmosphere was so calming. I will be returning!

These people are thieves. First, they will tell you they have knowledge of the state test contents so you can easily pass the test. That’s the first lie. The State test is nothing like what they teach. 98 percent of students will fail the test after “learning” at Hands on Approach. The test cost about 200$ every time you take it till you pass. Add that to their outrageous tuition and you are being scammed. ($5,000)

You can’t beat the price. Their licensed massage experts give a great massage for $40. The students give a good massage most of the time. There are no frills included but if you want a basic massage and not pampered then try a student for $30 for fifty minutes.
