I brought my facial from Emily last year. My mom enjoyed her appointment so much that I brought her a gift card to use for Emily in December for Christmas. The gift card stated that it was valid for one year so my expiration date would be 12/25/22. My mom tried to redeem her gift card however, we soon found out that Emily moved in February. Not once we were given any head ups that she was moving, if that was the case I would’ve told my mom to redeem her gift card earlier. I messaged Emily and she told me to message the owner to get things resolved. When I messaged the owner she told me that she can not give me a refund and the only service I would use the gift card for would be her eyelash service. However, the owner does not do eyelashes at the moment based on her website and eyelashes are not a one time expense therefore it is not fair that I can only use the gift card on that. This whole process has been super frustrating and I just want my money back. If you can not guarantee a service then refund the money why would I spend my money on something else that I do not want!!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityScheduled my service for today at 10am, unfortunately my 6 year old threw up at 7:30am before taking him to school. Emily and Jojo were not at all accommodating citing their cancellation policy and telling me that by rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment it is the same as canceling the appointment and will be charging me $40 for rescheduling. Reading through the policy it states cancellations are charged and doesn’t mention rescheduled appointments being charged yet they insist a rescheduled appointment is a cancelled appointment. Thus I will be taking my money and my business elsewhere.
