I cannot recommend going to this spa over the others in the area. My therapist was running 15 minutes behind after moving my appointment to a very inconvenient time for myself due to their strict cancellation policy. The service and staff were good, but they ended up shortening my appointment by about 20 minutes after paying for a full hour at full price. I have been to other Hand and Stone Massage locations and have never encountered these issues. Overall, a very disappointing experience and I cannot recommend this spa.

I love this Hand and Stone! The general manager Isabella is super sweet, bubbly and very professional. She always greets me with a smile and makes me feel at home. I hope that she’s there for a while! I also saw Lili for a wonderful prenatal massage and she really knows what she’s doing! 10/10!

I have been going to Hand and Stone and have been a member for over a year now. Overall have enjoyed the massages and felt like they helped me while training for my half marathon. However, over the last few months, the quality has gone down significantly. It is very hard to get an appointment and so I usually have to book a month in advance. Lately I’ve been getting my appointments canceled consistently. I just had three appointments back to back to back get canceled and then there was no available replacement appointments. I gave two different family members gift cards for Christmas to go use their services and they still haven’t been able to go because they keep getting appointments canceled. I was finally able to get into see someone today, I had never seen this masseuse before but the front desk person said they were highly recommended. He seemed to be brand new and did not offer a hot towel after the massage, barely used any oil, and cut my massage five minutes short. There was banging on the other side of the wall the entire time creating a very unrelaxing environment. I then felt pressured to give a tip even though I didn’t feel like it was deserved. I also noticed that they have now increased their tipping ranges even though the quality has gone down. The only reason I will continue to go there is to keep getting massages while I train but I am now looking for a new place to go. I am so disappointed that one of my favorite places to go get a massage has gone downhill so quickly.

I’ve seen both Jasmine and Rachael here for the facials. They both listen to your needs and concerns and work with you to achieve your goal for the session. They make the best recommendations possible to get you where you want to be with your skin. I also have tried the Dermalinfusion service and love it! You leave the facial looking and feeling like your glowing. I would highly recommend the service, they’re just so relaxing!!

Worst experience. Facial was subpar and they charged me an extra $110 for “added treatments” but didn’t tell me that they were extra and just acted like it was all apart of the $70 classic facial. When I responded to the email they sent for me to review they called me and and just offered me $20 off my next facial. Don’t go to this place!

Edit on 8/14/22: My original review was 2 years ago and was 5 stars however after David left a year ago, I have to adjust my rating to 1 star now. Over the past year, they have accidentally cancelled two of my appointments (one I didn’t know about until I drove 30 mins to get there), they have double booked me once and they had to reschedule me at least 4 other times the night before my appointments due to their therapists having personal issues. Most of the men here give poor massages, it’s like getting a massage from a baby seal or dolphin (sloppy and way too soft). I recommend passing on this place and trying any one of Loudoun County’s top 5 massage centers.

I’ve been attending this facility for massage services since roughly the summer of 2021. It initially was going well until November of 2021 when my credit card on file was charged for services not authorized. I had reached to the office and spoke with a manager and told them I was no longer interested in continuing services and was told they would not charge. I was extremely surprised when a few days later they ignored my wishes and charged my card anyways. It took effort to resolve the issue and get a refund for the unauthorized payment. I discontinued using their services. I cannot tell you the last time I even received services from them and they are now calling and harassing me stating they need payment from me. They had tried charging a card that had been expired without my consent and now are harassing me for an updated payment method even though I’ve already cancelled my services with them. This business is not trustworthy with your credit card information. Keep that in mind when showing interest in this company.

I cannot say enough about this place. I have been trying different spas for years and have never felt as happy and relaxed as I do after a massage with David at Hand and Stone. David is so knowledgeable and has the magic touch. His prenatal massages made my pregnancy so much easier. I highly recommend him to anyone who is expecting. David you are amazing! Keep up the good work!
