I never very rarely leave reviews, and never bad ones, but the abysmally poor customer service has prompted me to leave one for this location. Beware if you book appointments online, they’ll cancel them. Don’t book too many appointments with them unless you’re a member of this particular location – they will cancel them. Show up for an appointment you confirmed? Beware, they may have canceled it. When asking the owner about having all of the 80 minute massages I had booked months in advance to use up some of my member packages changed to 60 minute appointments, she was super condescending and rude and just not how you treat a customer. It may not seem like a big deal to them, but I have a very physical job and look forward to my massages for weeks leading up to them, so to have them be canceled, changed, and not honored just sucks. The rest of the ladies at the desk are very helpful and nice and all of the massage therapists I’ve had here have been great. Unfortunately because of all of the shenanigans with my appointments, which has definitely become a rule rather than an exception, I would never come back to this location and give them my business.

Gina C is one of the best esthetician I have had in the past 3 years. She is very knowledgeable of her work, professional at what she does and makes her own skin care products that are amazing. I recently brought my son to her with an acne problem . With her treatments and care, His skin looks amazing. If u have any skin issues, give her a call, u won’t be sorry.

I have a couple favorites massage therapists I like. Pricing can be a bit higher than others, but it’s always clean, and you prebook appointments so you never get turned away. Their membership is a fair deal if you like to get a monthly massage. Or you can save them and use 2 in one month. I think you can combine for other services as well.

2/4 massages cancelled last minute and the manager refuses to do anything about it. They told me to try other locations knowing that my massage expires the end of the month. Total disregard the customer but will undoubtedly charge us if we canceled last minute. This manager refuses to extend my massage and basically ignored my messages and told me to book at another place. Sure ill drive an hour away and call off work to get the date i need…NOT. Its just not right to cancel last minute and unwilling to work with the customers esp when its a repeated offense. Ive talked to managers at other locations and they’ve always compensated me for the inconvenience even if its small like aromatherapy etc. This manager sounds dismissive and just don’t care that people have kids, jobs, etc.

My name is Jordan and I am an employee at this spa. I love to read the reviews to see our clients feed back. I was just taking a look and noticed Ronnisha’s negative review of our spa and mentioning my name and several others specifically. I would like to start off by saying that last night I spoke to Ronnisha on the phone a total of four times. During the time of check-in/check-out we do not prioritize the phone, we cater to our clients in the spa and call back our clients that leave voicemails. Unfortunately, Ronnisha never left any voicemails, just called 15 times back to back while we had multiple people coming in and out of the spa. She would have received a phone call back at our earliest convenience if a voicemail was left, in addition to our previous conversations. Every question that I was asked, got an answer. I was as helpful as I could be given her requests. Certain things, such as the timing she was requesting to come in and the refund she wanted was out of my control. I wrote all of her requests down on paper, along with all of her information and told her that we would get her situation resolved as soon as possible. She requested her membership be cancelled immediately, despite our 1 month notice cancellation policy. I am not authorized to give her the answer she wanted to hear, so I told her again that I will happily pass the information on to our manager (who had already left for the day). It was confusing to read that I specifically was “unhelpful” to her when during our last conversation that night, I was told how helpful I was being. The comment about being treated differently because of her race really upset me, being that my daughter is African-American along with the esthetician that serviced Ronnisha, many of our other employees, and valued clients. All of our clients are highly valued, unfortunately we just could not fulfill Ronnisha’s request in the time frame she requested. The service that was provided to Ronnisha was a premium service that many of our clients get every day. Of course, since she had a reaction, which is possible and happens from time to time depending on clients skin type, we would have been happy to issue a refund for the service once a service provider was available to exam the skin. We take all of our clients feedback very seriously and handle with care, however, we do not engage in spreading misinformation.

This place lacks professionalism and proper leadership and it’s unfortunate because there are good people who work here unfortunately they just don’t work in leadership or at the front desk. It’s sad that this situation couldn’t be handled privately and I would hate to think that I may have been treated better had I been white. I had a facial(microdermabrasion ) I was upgraded once I arrived on Saturday by Monday my nose has developed dark marks scarring to the point I look like a Dalmatian. On Thursday I called and spoke with Lauren who I later found out is the owners daughter and runs this location. She was very dismissive put me on an extensive hold to check other clients in never asked my name and told me she could refund me and have someone look at me that day to look at it we agreed on 4:15 because she said an esthetician would be available again she never took my info I called around 3:45 to ensure that someone would be available and got Jordan another unhelpful employee who told me no one was available until 6pm. I told her I couldn’t come at 6p. I called back multiple times at least 15 and was ignored no one answered Jordan finally answered again nonchalantly and I told her I had put a request in to cancel my membership and wanted to ensure that it was going through she told me she would give my number to Lauren I am now in the process of taking other actions due to their neglect carelessness and inefficiency. I was never given a care plan on how I should manage my skin after the treatment possible side effects nothing. All I wanted was to know if this is normal how long it would last and why I wasn’t informed and now it’s escalated.

What a gimmick. Purchased a gift card for my daughter and in turn received one free. Never was I told that there is an expiration date for either of the gift cards. Poor customer service. Will not be using Hand and Stone in the future for any services.Waste of $$$.

I love the Glen Mills H&S. I “migrated” to this location from my original location due to greater availability and ease of scheduling with the therapists of my choice (that would be Jess for massages and Christina for facials-they are seriously the BEST!!). The front desk staff people are very nice and helpful and the location is very clean. All the rooms that I have been in are very relaxing and it’s very quiet throughout, despite the pretty good amount of rooms they have available for clients.
