I had an appointment on 8/11/22. I was impressed with the cleanliness. Being a healthcare worker, I understand the importance of that. The staff was polite & I was taken on time. I was asked if I needed to use the restroom prior to entering the room. I did, but wasn’t aware that I was on the clock. If I pay or receive a gift card for a 1 hour massage, that’s what I expect; 60 minutes, not 45 or 50. My therapist asked me a how I wanted the pressure, I said, “As hard as you can do”. She was adequate, I’ve had better there.

Last sat was my first time trying out this service. One of my family members had set a reservation for me. When I first walked in the staff greeted me in a courteous manner and had me wait for my apt. The wait was only 2-5 mins. The massage was very therapeutic and the atmosphere was relaxed. If I could give the review a zero I would!! I’ve been coming to this location for many many years and since the management change the place has really gone downhill! The front desk is clueless as to how things are run. I make appointments and I get text messages or phone calls saying that the massage therapist called out. But isn’t it funny how we as a customer rearrange our schedule and if it was us that called out being sick for appointment they would take a package away!! How is that fair? And then they don’t tell you that you acquire points that you can use for a free service. I have gone in person to cancel my membership and told I can’t because I have to be charged again. I have talk to Samantha on putting my account on freeze only to find out that they charged me!!! The manager Mariah is no help I explained everything to her after even talking to her in person and she was so nasty on the phone and told me she was going to cancel my membership! Not even bringing up the points that I have accumulated for being there as many years as I have been!! So if you’re looking for a good massage place this is not it!!!

It was honestly pretty awful. The woman was nice, but she barely had any technique. I’ve been getting massages for years and this was the most disappointing. The masseuse was incredibly unskilled. Had I know it would be like that, I wouldn’t have booked. Also, I booked a 90 min massage with a 20 minute scalp massage and was in my car in 75 minutes…which seems suspicious.

I enjoy coming here because I know I’m gonna get a quality massage but it’s it’s it’s just over packed and you can never get your same massage person they’re like booked out 2 months in advance so unless you’re booking 2 months in advance every time you’re probably not gonna get your favorite person. if you want an 80 minute massage Good luck because it seems like it’s hard to get an 80 minute massage they don’t have time slots for it. And you can’t just call and think you’re gonna get a massage in the next couple days you know you gotta book a week or 2 weeks in advance plus. Especially when you’re a member and you’re paying that’s the only downside

I went to Hand and Stone in Deptford NJ. I have to say I had an amazing experience. It was my first time ever receiving a facial. I am getting married July 9th of this year. My makeup artist suggested I have a facial before my big day. I arrived at Hand and Stone 15 minutes prior to my booked appointment. The receptionists were extremely friendly and knew exactly how to make me feel welcome. The esthetician was amazing. Brittney was so professional and friendly. Knowing that it was my first time having a facial, Brittney took the time to throughly explain the process and what my skin was in need of. She was absolutely amazing and did such a great job on my facial. I will highly recommend this Hand and Stone location ( Deptford NJ ) . Brittney took her time and I was able to see a huge difference in my skin when I went home. I greatly appreciate and enjoyed the service that I was provided. It was refreshing and so relaxing. I will be back within the next 3-4 weeks. I now see how important it is to treat your skin as top priority.
