Critical: QualityMy 14 year old had a relative try to color her hair. My daughters a brunette and the relative put bleached highlights in it. It looked awful. So I took her to Hair Max to fix it. They did a good job bringing the brown back in, but it left a green tone to it. My mom took my daughter back to Hair Max to see if they could get the green out. The owner bleached her entire head. My 14 year old had a relative try to color her hair. My daughters a brunette and the relative put bleached highlights in it. It looked awful. So I took her to Hair Max to fix it. They did a good job bringing the brown back in, but it left a green tone to it. My mom took my daughter back to Hair Max to see if they could get the green out. The owner bleached her entire head. Critical: ProfessionalismIt’s a family owned business. I had to follow the girl that did my acrylic nails to this salon. She is deaf but can read lips very well. Very nice person. I caught multiple times where they would talk about her knowing she couldn’t hear. As a customer this is so u professional!!!! The owners are married NOT friendly at all!! I hated going there. I was thrilled when my person left there knowing how rude they were to here. I found it very abusive. Very immature with the owners.It’s a family owned business. It’s a family owned business. I had to follow the girl that did my acrylic nails to this salon. She is deaf but can read lips very well. Very nice person. Overpriced. Went in for a child’s haircut (12 year old). My girl was in the chair for maybe 10 minutes as the cut was extremely easy and was charged $30. It was cold and drizzly outside so I asked if they could blow dry her hair so she didn’t have to leave the salon in the cold with a wet head. I was told that would constitute a style and would cost another $10. We won’t be back.

Worst hair experience of my life. It’s a miracle I still have hair! Went in for root touch up on single slice of color. End of day one left with orange roots, blue mid section and white ends. The girl was clueless. After calling the manager the following day to have it fixed, she refused to let me explain what was done wrong, said “it doesn’t matter” only wanted to know what I wanted them to do to fix it. This manager worked with my stylist through the “fix”. Then with my head still in the sink, waiting on toner to finish process told me, “well, it’s not perfect, but it’s better than it was- you should go back to the stylist that did it the first time- where you were were satisfied.”. So they charged me $102 to lighten and tone regrowth on a single slice of hair. Two days in the salon, still ended up with orange roots, and was told to go with WET hair. AND go back to my old stylist! Terrible customer service. Horrible work. Steer clear of stylist Carly and manager Susan!!

This is a locally owned business that has a cute salon attached to it. They provide the usual hair supplies as well as bulk shampoos and conditioners that you can use to fill your own containers. I get a month’s worth of salon quality shampoo for under $3.00! Come support your local businesses.
