Hairetics Salon seeks to provide a safer space in which our clients can express themselves through their hair. In February 2014, we opened our doors on 7th Street between Howard St. and Folsom St., in the SoMa district of San Francisco. We offer a wide variety of services for all folks ranging from chic styling and bold cuts to vibrant color and a variety of hair extension options, including dread lock extension and maintenance. We can do it all in our charming salon and we invite you to come in to see it for yourself. Our Salon prefers and promotes professional styling products from Pureology, Mizan and Redken with a Redken-certified color specialist & educator in-house. We also carry Dolly Locks Organic dread products for our dread heads.

This place is incredible! I had never dyed my hair before and wanted a purple balayage. This was a big change for me, and Christian did such a good job of answering all my questions and making sure it turned out how I wanted. They were very skilled and so friendly! They also did some treatments to help my hair maintain its natural curl. All in all, a fantastic experience!

This place is awesome. Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with very reasonable prices. Christian gave me the perfect haircut while still keeping my hair at a long length. I was ready to chop a lot of it off but Christian’s cut made my hair much more manageable while keeping the long hair length. And a wonderful relaxing scalp massage too! I’ll be back for sure!!

Pasha is my girl! I’ve never had someone who just GETS what I want with my hair. I met her when I needed a severe color correction to my hair. I got my hair cut and dyed a beautiful magenta color here about a year and a half ago. Brittany did an amazing job, provided amazing service and the whole experience was amazing! I’ve been going here since it opened. They are masters of the craft. My hair is naturally dark brown. Heather is able to keep my hair healthy and a pastel sky blue even when I’m in the water or at the beach and in the sun every day. It’s like magic

I love this salon. I’ve been to 7 or 8 in San Francisco from super upscale to small and this place is the most ‘me’. Great color, responsive staff, and goth. Seriously love the music play list. Any person who wants a unique style certainly should give it a shot.
