Critical: ProfessionalismI went in to see Hallie for partial highlights and to darken up the bottom of my hair. I made it very clear I did not want ANY orange in my hair. Well…highlights looked GREAT! But there was a lot of orange…I told her I loved the highlights hated the orange… she said it’ll wash off on a few days or I can come back and she’ll fix it. Tip included, I paid $185. It didn’t wash off so I went back and she not only covered the orange but my highlights that I paid for! I was speechless! AND the color doesn’t even match my natural color it’s really dark…so I went in wanting to go lighter and I came out with darker hair. I asked her to fix it at no charge since I paid so much and got nothing that I asked for – she said “ okay i’m sorry you feel that way but it’s my business and i need to pay my bills as well and i’m even giving you $50 off of the service so if you feel so unhappy with it then maybe you should go to a different stylist”. OMFG! Umm I have bills too that’s why I want what I paid for! I was sooo nice about it too. I will be contacting the owner to have this fixed or report it to the BBB. I went in to see Hallie for partial highlights and to darken up the bottom of my hair. I made it very clear I did not want ANY orange in my hair. Well…highlights looked GREAT! But there was a lot of orange…I told her I loved the highlights hated the orange… she said it’ll wash off on a few days or I can come back and she’ll fix it. Tip included, I paid $185. Critical: ProfessionalismI went to get my hair done my Hallie Dikeman here a few times but the last time she did my hair she not only messed up my hair but she was very unprofessional. I went in to get my purple re-done under my hair and what I ended up with was a streak of purple, blue, green, brown, and light blue hair. I have no idea what she did but she agreed with me that it looked horrible and even said I looked like the joker. She’s very young so as me being older, I didn’t freak out and handled myself very well. I even comforted her while she was sobbing. I mean, I feel like I should of been the one crying right? She told me that if my hair didn’t turn out purple then she wouldn’t charge me. Well, after everything was said and done she charged me 100$!!!!!! she told me that I could come in the next day to get it fixed. (I think that’s why I wasn’t freaking out cause I’m like ok, tomorrow it will be fixed) she then changed her mind and told me that she could fix it Sunday at 8am. I told her to calm down and that I would go home to see if I could even try to like my hair. I texted her when I got home and told her not to worry about it and that we’ll do my purple next time. That it was an “ok” mistake. I texted her about an hour later telling her that I actually did want my hair fixed on Sunday because at the end of the day I wanted purple and I didn’t get that. I shouldn’t have to settle on something I didn’t ask for. Let alone pay for it! She told me she couldn’t get me in anymore for another week until she gets back from vacation. I ended up asking for my money back and she did nothing but justify her actions and blamed ME for “declining” her to fix it. Which wasn’t the case at all. She’s very unprofessional and I would not recommend her to anyone. She’s also very immature. All 3x I’ve gone to see her, she’s talked badly about all her employees and “best friends” and the trashy salon she has to work in. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueBeen getting haircuts for over 15 years here. Dawn and her mom are the best!! My mom and gma both have their hair done here also. Give Hair North a try and make an app today. I won’t go anywhere else.Service: Hairstyling
