Awesome salon! Juan usually does my hair. She is very kind and professional. She keeps running her salon in a very safe way during this special time. Very reliable! I was trying to make a hair dying appointment with Juan the other day. She was not available and she recommended Denis to me. I was nervous at the beginning but when it came out I was definitely amazed! It took us longer than we expected. But Denis had so much patience to achieve the best result! Juan was also staying with us until very late that night. I felt like a VVIP. Now I just can’t stop looking my hair in the mirror. Thank you, Juan and Denis! Definitely recommend!!

I never leave a bad review and I hate to do so. But the hair style was terrible and doesn’t look like the pic I gave to the hairdresser. She called out the type of the hairstyle which I want, but she cuts a totally different one. I’m a girl with a short hair but they charge me a long hair price! That was insane! It doesn’t worth the price AT ALL!!!

Highly recommend coming to see Reika! This is my second time at HDZ and while my previous stylist was really good, I will definitely prefer to request Reika from now on. She understands very quickly what you’re looking for with pictures and description, and her movements are so practised and efficient. You really notice the fluidity in how she puts your hair up, cuts (both Japanese dry cut and wet), and styles. Her accuracy in delivering the length and style you want is very good, and you can tell she is very detail oriented. Reika’s personaliy is also very calm and bright to create a nice atmosphere, but she doesn’t pressure you to talk if you’re quieter. She’s wonderful and will definitely come again to see her!

They can speak Japanese, Korean (I think), Chinese and English fluently. I had Juan Ma cut and style my hair today, and I just let her do whatever she thought would suit my face, and I got a hair cut like one I have never had before. She really thought about what would suit me and thought about what was currently trending in hair. Not to mention they use Japanese hair products which are awesome. I had Juan Ma cut and style my hair today, and I just let her do whatever she thought would suit my face, and I got a hair cut like one I have never had before. She really thought about what would suit me and thought about what was currently trending in hair. Not to mention they use Japanese hair products which are awesome. Jane is an artist. Every time I want a new look but have no idea how it should be, Jane always knows and makes my hair look wonderful after cutting and proper treatment. Most importantly, the hair cut is easy to style by myself at home and looks still great after growing a bit longer.

I really like this new hair color! It was done by Juan two weeks ago and then I decided to come back here today to get a hair cut. I am amazed by how natural the color is and whatever product she used doesn’t smell and damage your hair like a lot of other hair bleaching products! So happy 🙂

I was referred to this Salon. My stylist was Reika (pronounced Lake-uh) and frankly she was incredible. She was gentle, communicative, focused, super detail oriented, talkative when I wanted to be and it was the best experience I think I’ve ever had. Her head massage and hair wash were the absolute best. I can’t give her enough praise. I will 100% be coming back to her as well as getting my husbands hair done by her as well. Not to mention my hair feels AMAZING. I’m such a happy customer.

Great experience! Scheduling was quick and easy. Stopped for a consultation and scheduling the actual appointment. Denis spent 4 hours applying the Japanese Hair straightening treatment to my hair, frequently asking if I needed anything (drink or snack etc) , and if the water and hair blower temperature were okay. He verified the price and treatment before starting, kept me informed of what he was doing and how long it would take, and engaged me in conversation during the process. Other employees were very kind and considerate ensuring I had sufficient entertainment, and no one pushed any products on me afterward.

First, I never received that charge at all, second, I’m sure those people wouldn’t be complaining if the prices were raised with no mention of COVID, and third of all $2 is absolutely nothing in comparison to the experience you get. 5 stars!!Such a great salon!!
