Hair by Sonia is definitely a game changer for better management of my natural hair. I love my natural tresses but sometimes the process of washing, detangling, & the upkeep is a lot of work for a busy Career Mom. Thus, I keep my hair in protective styles most of the time. However, those rare moments when I would get my hair straightened primarily to trim my ends, the style would last up to 48 hours max (if the weather or activity permitted). Yet, I didn’t want to damage my hair or drastically change my natural curls by applying to much heat. So another Natural Mom recommended me to Sonia. I reviewed before and after pics and was convinced that I needed to be in her chair.. lol I had a phone consult with Sonia prior to my visit and it was reassuring to know that her primary focus was healthy hair. My service included a texture release and trim. I had my first experience under a steamer vs a dryer and I feel this will make a difference in the hydration status of my hair. This by far has been the best experience I’ve had with the straightening and trimming of my natural hair. The staff was very friendly. Their process/flow was very efficient. The environment was relaxing. The overall experience was therapeutic. I am a well-pleased customer I was very pleased with my before and after pics.. lol I would highly recommend.

Mrs. Sonia and her assistants are the epitome of great customer service. Not only do they do your hair but they actually care about your hair. It’s hard to find stylists who specialize in haircare these days. Everybody wants to style your hair but nobody wants to take the time to make sure you have healthy hair. They went over and beyond to make my 1st experience of MANY one to remember. I was so very pleased with the service and overall treatment I received from them. They have definitely gained a FOREVER customer with me ☺️

Hair by Sonia slogan says it all, this is her passion and it shows in her work. We drove from Cleveland, Ms for our daughter birthday and then turned around and went back for homecoming my daughter loved it so much. She went in with a Afro and came out like a model. We love Sonia, I call her the hair . Ladies you will not be disappointed what you see on the video come to life when you experience. We definitely will be back and will highly recommend

Stop reading this review and BOOK NOW! My hair has never looked better! During my most recent visit, I received a texture release and silk press. I have received so many comments from friends and strangers. My husband loves my hair. It has so much bounce and literally looks like silk! The texture release made my hair so much more manageable and able to withstand the Texas heat. I traveled from Houston to receive these services and I will be back! The salon is top notch!
