I took my twin, five-year-old grand children for haircuts today. There were two women working. One nice woman did a fantastic job cutting my rambunctious grandson’s hair. Unfortunately, the other “stylist” was not as great. She greeted my family with condescension and rudeness. This behavior continued throughout our entire visit. I have six daughters. All of them have long hair. I can safely say that I have taken a lot of little people for hair cuts. This is the first time that a stylist forced me to hold a child’s head and continuously chastised me for not doing HER job incorrectly. Never going here again. Sorry to the other lady that has to work with her day after day.

Greenwood location of the Great Clips chain. Generally busy but if you check in online the wait isn’t too bad. Friendly stylists and reasonable prices. Street parking is available out front, but it fills up. There is a garage for the building accessible from the north side.

I have been using this location for over two years. Today I went in for trim and all my information wasn’t in the system. The person was rude, demeaning and walked away as I was trying to register. If more customers are treated this way they will lose more than just my business.

This is a great place! HOWEVER, the lady with the blue highlights is not it. When she had cut my mother’s hair, she made a comment about how the haircut she wanted would make her look fat. This is not professional at all. My mom and I, being loyal customers to this place, came back to get another haircut and she had unfortunately gotten the same person. My mom had explained to her MULTIPLE times the type of haircut she wanted, in Spanish (the lady spoke it as well), and she still got a bad haircut that was uneven, barely any got cut off, and she still had to pay full price.

The hairstylist is doing a great job! I’ve got exactly what I’ve asked for. I like to keep my hair straight and shoulder length and this is what I was given. She used water on my hair, so that she can have a better idea of the cut, but there is no blow drying. Now, I understand why, because they are following the guidelines, but it’s not great. I couldn’t find parking in front of the store, so I had to go and park at Fred Meyer. When I walked towards the salon I wasn’t cold, but when I returned to my car, I was actually feeling cold. I would recommend bringing a hat or a longer scarf so that you can put it on your head. To the salon I’d probably recommend them to try and find a solution, so that they would at least allow the customer to dry their hair somewhere separately. Is not alright to leave with your hair wet, you can get sick.

As far as Great Clips go, this one is top notch for me. Yes, it happens to be closest to my home. A business can definitely live or die based on the people who work there and the ladies (because I’ve only ever seen women cutting/styling hair here) make this place why I’d go back. Very friendly, and I can tell you from personal experience that its possible to walk out having learned something that totally blew your mind from a simple conversation.
