Critical: QualityI went in to have my hair trimmed. My hair was to my lower back with long layers. I have thick naturally wavy/ curly hair. When I arrived and seated we agreed only 2 inches needed to come off. As she cut my hair, I was wondering why she was cutting my hair in certain ways and started getting nervous as the layers were getting shorter. Towards the end she said she was thinning out my hair but with her normal scissors which I thought was odd. While cutting my hair she had to keep helping people at the front desk and checking them in and answer the phone. When she was done I knew it did not look right in the front but gave her the benefit of the doubt. My daughter told me I needed to go home and straighten it because it looked really uneven. When I got home and straightened out my hair looked awful. One side was longer than the other. The top layer was almost to my shoulders. I went back to show her what she did to my hair and to get my money back. She refunded me my money and I left. I was able to get some one else to fix it today and it will take a few hair cuts over months to get it completely fixed. She thinned out the bottom of my hair that I almost had to have it cut below my shoulders. There was a two inch difference in sections. The hair was longer on top in some areas and very short underneath. At the shortest area 12 + inches was cut off my hair. I will not be going back to great clips. If some one does not how to cut wavy thick hair or how to do layers then do not cut there hair.
