I went in a couple of weeks ago for a cut. There was a older black lady there. I noticed her nails were very dirty! Had no Polish on which is how I noticed. Her nails were black. Maybe dirt or build up from the day. It was unprofessional AND UNSANITARY!!! (Now a days you can’t really ask someone to check their hygiene without getting in a fight, getting shot or blasted on social media over it.) Who knows what was in her nails that has potentially moved from one head to another. She seemed nice and was respectful to everyone while I was there. Her character wasn’t the issue but simple hand washing and maintenance was definitely lacking. Maybe management needs to require “hand checks” throughout the shift??

Asked for curtain bangs and showed a picture. Got nowhere even close to what I wanted. It’s a very trendy haircut that people should know how to do. My bangs are so short I can barely even pin them back and are too short to braid so I’m wearing headbands for the next two weeks. What I asked for and what the picture shows is curtain bangs that are over the eyebrows. I got bangs that are about two inches above my eyebrows. It looks like I did them myself and botched it. So embarrassing! It’s the whole reason I was afraid to try bangs in the first place. Never going back for anything but a simple trim.
