Great clips is a great place to get your haircut and beard trimmed. The stylists are very knowledgeable on how to tame a beard. Today (10-10-22) my stylist was Desiree she did amazing job on my hair cut. She also did an amazing job on forming my beard. She only cut what was needed. That maked me happy because I am trying to grow my beard out. Desiree is also really good at keeping the conversations going while you are in the chair. Today was my best experience at great clips so far.

Brought a resident that I work with for a haircut. Get to store after calling them to see how long was told 25 minutes. No mention of anything else. Get to store and they have up cash only signs. Resident can only use card and can not take cash off it. This is after a 80 minute wait from check in because only 2 people working. Cancelled day before because it was a 100 minute wait. When down there a list on the screen shows 2y0 0 people wonder how many will walk out because you aren’t letting them know.

We were on the wait list for 4 cuts. My 2 year old was supposed to be a cut and curls. We got told that they didn’t have time. It’s a service offered and nothing states that they only do styling when there’s no wait. Then don’t offer that service then. I’ve never been denied a service that a place offers based on being busy and if they do they have something states that the service is not available on busy days. We were not impressed

I have been to many salons over the years and was so pleased to have found Lily (through my husband’s recommendation). She listens, makes recommendations and is a perfectionist. Absolutely terrible place to get your hair cut! This is the second time I have been at this location with a dirty area. I went in and the stylist told me to go to her chair and when I went to her spot, there was hair all over from the previous male customer. I mean everywhere, it was on the floor, chair, and the stand underneath the mirror. I asked if she was going to clean it up, and she said it is (as she wiped her hand across the chair). I then asked if a different stylist could cut my hair because I didn’t feel comfortable sitting at her spot. When I went to the next stylist, I told her I would like at least two inches off. I had stated I wanted my hair length to be at my shoulders or a little above. As she was cutting it and about to thin it out, I asked if she could go a little shorter. She said not now! I couldn’t believe what she just said so I laughed uncomfortably. When I got in my car and looked in my mirror I saw how many pieces were longer than others ( I asked for a straight across cut). I got so emotional and couldn’t believe that this stylist wouldn’t cut MY hair shorter. I decided to call back and let her know that I was disappointed in my cut and that I couldn’t believe she wouldn’t cut MY hair to the length I wanted! She said she was thought the length was fine. I told her that it’s not her hair, so it doesn’t matter what length she thinks it should be. On Monday, I will be going to the Oconomowoc location to have it fixed. I will NEVER come to this location again!

They are rude here and talk down to you! The woman who cut my hair said she could not do the cut I wanted. She was rude and argumentative! She also talked to me as if I were stupid, and she was an all knowing guru about hair. Her hair didn’t look that great! I had a feeling no one wanted to cut my hair, and she got the short straw. As I was checking out another employee came up and made a catty remark to the woman who cut my hair about me. What a bunch of rude snotty hateful women!!!

I showed the lady that cut my hair multiple pictures, explained in great detail how I wanted my hair. I was told that they won’t be able to get my hair perfect but they will try. None of their staff is actually able to fade and the haircuts they give are terrible.
