“Update”.The owner reached out and offered to make things right. I went in and was able to get it fixed wasn’t the look that i wanted but, definitely looked better than it was. I’ve been getting my hair cut there for awhile and, i will be returning thank you to the owner and the stylist that fixed my hair for being understanding…..Told the lady i wanted to leave the back and the top alone. 2 seconds later she takes the trimmer to one side completely cuts it off. I was visibly upset but, she then tried to just trim up the other side leaving the length. and tried to only show me the side that she didn’t mess up.. I had to tell her to even it out she seemed completely comfortable try to let me walk out with my hair uneven and messed up. Its still messed up

Nice place, clean, always friendly, but most of all… Kim is AWESOME!! Great at what she does, but also funny as hell and makes getting a haircut fun! If she has any bad reviews. So unbelievably upset, not only did she go way shorter then what I asked for my hair is so uneven and I can’t go have it fixed and I don’t even have a name to complain the only thing I am impressed with is how sweet she was seems to me great clips needs to be less worried with quick service and do better on quality service will never go back I now have to walk a round with hair that looks like my toddler cut it for months before I can fix it

Yesterday was my first time at Great Clips in Waterford. Upon arriving everyone seemed very nice. The woman (didn’t get her name) who cut my sons hair though was not. She seemed annoyed from the beginning. My son is 5 and she was just jerking his head around. Didn’t say when she was going to buzz, blow dry, spray water anything. Like he’s 5. Giving a heads up of what you’re about to do and being gentle and patient goes a long way. I know this place isn’t marketed towards kids, but was just taken back. She seemed rushed and annoyed.

Took my 3 year old son for a hair cut today at the Waterford plaza location on 59. This was not our first time at this location. But was our first poor experience here. We had Nicole. She was rude and unprofessional. Very unfriendly from the start and seemed irritated with us for no reason at all. My son just turned 3 in February. She kept shaking her head, rolling her eyes, her eyes would get big like she was frustrated, etc. if he wasn’t sitting still. He’s 3!! I don’t know of any 3 year old who can sit still for a hair cut. He was very well behaved, did not cry or scream. I can’t imagine now if he did cry or scream how she would have reacted. She was rough with his head if he wasn’t sitting the way she needed him to sit. I was very angry and almost grabbed my son from the chair, scolded this woman, and walked out to go some place else. But I am not this type of person and have had people be rude to me at my job in the past and I know how it feels. Although, these people had no reason to be rude to me. I had a reason to be rude to Nicole. But chose to just bite my tongue, keep my eyes on my son, and plan to never come back instead. As well as writing a review in hopes she can be talked to about her actions. Because of her, we will never be back to this location. Totally unacceptable.

Close at the time your business is open till! I got there 7 minutes before they closed & no customers were in. The two stylists were too busy counting all the cash at front desk. I asked politely to get a quick haircut (“customer service”) and one of the ladies said rudely, “Sorry we’re already closed”; even though front doors were still open & they were too busy chit-chatting with another girl & counting their money instead of helping a customer. This is how you lose business!
