Okay so the last few times I have came in I haven’t really been blown away. It’s a great place for kids to get a decent hair cut without paying a ton of money. However, today I came in and had my hair cut and the young lady who cut it was more in line with someone who works at a salon with years of experience. I have a friend who used to cut my hair and she has been to every beauty school and cosmetology class you can think of and has over 20 years of experience, the young lady who cut my hair today reminded me more of her services than a barber or hair stylist. This girl was excellent and I’m not saying anything bad against Great Clips but I think she is well beyond the skill level required for someone that just cuts hair.

I went in because I’m new to the area greatclips is always a safe bet. I have been growing my hair for about a year after finishing and beating cancer. I spoke to a woman at first she sat me in her chair and said she couldn’t do the haircut I wanted so she handed me off I went in with the intent of getting a shoulder length inverted bob because my hairs really uneven. She cut all of my hair to the same length as my bangs. After I specifically said those just get feathered back. All of my hair is at my ears and she shaved me bald under after asking me it looks blended under right? I specifically said don’t shave me I don’t ever want to be bald again and here I sit.

Went to go get curtain bangs for the very first time yesterday a week after having a baby so I could feel like myself again. I go in and SHOW the lady what I wanted done curtain bangs and the length all of it. I even held the photo up MOST OF THE time shes been cutting so she could actually see what I wanted! She starts cutting getting the length perfect and when it was time to do the curtain bangs SHE GAVE ME ACTUAL BANGS!!! Actual bangs and she parted it in the middle calling it “curtain bangs”. Great clips use to be so good in the passed but went down hill completely. Will be going to sideburns next time!!! 109% do NOT recommend!!!!

I described in detail what I wanted only to get my hair completely chopped off. My stylist Robyn asked for no input and just kept cutting more and more off. By far the worst haircut I’ve ever received and will not ever come back to this great clips. I could’ve done better myself. Haircut

Robyn, I would normally say hairstylist, but there is no way that’s what she is, completely messed up his hair. He described in detail what he wanted and how to cut his hair. He even showed her a picture. She did the absolute opposite of everything he asked, he had to tell her to stop twice, and she was extremely aggressive while shampooing his hair. He now has to go to a new STYLIST to completely fix what a simple trim should have been for this Robyn who obviously couldn’t handle even that.Definitely don’t recommend coming here. Definitely don’t recommend coming here. My husband went here to trim up his mullet. Robyn, I would normally say hairstylist, but there is no way that’s what she is, completely messed up his hair. He described in detail what he wanted and how to cut his hair. He even showed her a picture. Twice now I’ve got an uneven hair cut. They had my sideburns lopsided and gave me a fade when I asked for them to just trim it up. I wouldn’t trust them to cut the hair off a manged dog. Had to get my money back.

The wait was short, and the haircut was quick, but the person who cut my hair, Jan, was very rude. She made comments about how she thought the haircut I was getting was “ugly” and how she thought “my mother would agree, too,” though I had never met this woman before. My only issue was with the attitude of Jan, everything else done though was good. (I recommend asking for someone else)
