Ana cut my hair did a good job. My hair is easy. Super nice and wanted to make sure I got the best cut. Didn’t feel rushed. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI had a fabulous experience at this location with Pierre. He was friendly and professional. I especially enjoyed the wash I will admit to being nervous because I have naturally curly/frizzy hair and I have had a lot of bad experiences! Pierre was great though and helped me to relax! When it was done I couldn’t believe how little he had actually taken off and completely changed my look! Pierre also gave me some products to try which have really improved the moisture and shine of my hair. I will be going back. I had a fabulous experience at this location with Pierre. He was friendly and professional. I especially enjoyed the wash I will admit to being nervous because I have naturally curly/frizzy hair and I have had a lot of bad experiences! Pierre was great though and helped me to relax! When it was done I couldn’t believe how little he had actually taken off and completely changed my look! Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis is hands down the most unskilled, unprofessional, and flat out the most hideous haircut I have ever received. Lucilla absolutely ruined my hair and with that all my confidence. I came in with long hair all one length, showed a reference photo of medium length hair (approximately collarbone length), and left with- a kid you not- a mullet. I had informed my hairstylist before any cuts were made that I have had poor experiences in the past with chunky layering. I had also told her in conversation that I wore my hair up for work (I work in the beauty/salon industry myself) However, my hair can no longer be put up as the shortest layer is bang length and the longest comes to my chin. My entire head is BUTCHERED. It’s choppy, it’s inconsistent- there is no rhyme or reason to the cuts. Because I work in the industry I had my coworker try to work pure magic to fix Lucilla’s mistakes and she was absolutely baffled by how any licensed professional could do what she did. My coworker cut off the bottom part of the mullet, and blended her disgraceful shelf like layers leaving me with still a choppy bob but something that actually looks like a hairstyle. I had no choice but to go ever shorter than the terribly short length Lucilla had given me. The first words out of my mouth when Lucilla was finished and showed me my hair was, “it’s shorter than what I asked for.” She tried to explain to me it was because of the layers she had put in – well no sh*t Lucilla you butchered my head with choppy Edward Scissorhand layers. I started to get emotional and even felt sorry to be in this situation- I never have had such a horrible experience, I felt bad for everyone involved. However, not even ONCE did she apologize or admit any faults. She was still going to charge me until I very calmly (trying not to cry) told her, “I really don’t think I should have to pay for this” She then continued to say, “well, I will only charge you for the shampoo then.” No, I was so humiliated and ruined I didn’t want to pay for anything. It’s not right to say you should never go to Great Clips because not every hairstylist is a Lucilla; however, I’d highly suggest you reconsider. My mother’s experience here was equally unpleasant. Please just save yourself the trouble. Critical: ProfessionalismI will never go back to this shop. The man who cut my hair was was rude and so insulting. Almost walked out middle of the haircut.
