This has to be the worst managed Great Clips in the world. This is the third time I have made an appointment online to show up and the store was closed before their posted hours. I will never go here again and I would never recommend this spot to anyone. Stay away, go to the Mechanicsville Great Clips.

Went in the day before Thanksgiving to get a haircut. When I got there no one was waiting to get a haircut. But when I walked in I was told that they closed in 20 mins and therefore wouldn’t be able to cut my hair. All I wanted was a #1 buzz which takes all of 10 mins. Will not be going back. Apparently they don’t need my business. The previous time I’ve been here they are usually rude and try to get you in and out the chair as fast as possible, hence why I knew 20 mins was more than enough time to cut my hair. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I highly recommend the “Varina Barbershop”

The lady was really nice BUT I didn’t get the haircut I asked for. One side is supposed to be shorter than the other but she cut it the same length as the other side. It looks nowhere near the picture I showed her how I wanted it. It’s supposed to be slanted on one side and she said I have to wait for my hair to grow out. If that’s the case why did she cut it so short to not be able to have it like I wanted it! I swear nobody there ever listens to how you want it cut, they always just do what they want to do! It’s my hair and if I tell you I want it cut a certain way why do you think you can ignore me and give me the haircut that you want? Just ridiculous!

If you have a special needs or autistic child do not come to this location. My son is autistic and has sensory issues. Tatianna ignored my repeated requests not to use a comb or my son’s hair because it hurts and upsets him. My son started crying and having a meltdown. She INTENTIONALLY PULLED HIS HAIR, because she wanted to hurry up and leave the shop. My mom kept telling her to stop and she continued. My family and I have worked very hard over the last 5 years to make my son’s haircuts a trauma free event. Now that has been completely destroyed.

Very bad service. The hairdresser Tatiana provided lousy service. She was not friendly. She was upset that I recommended how I wanted to cut my hair. She was keeping say that she knows better as she is professional. I respect her professionality, however, I know my hair well. And during the haircut, I was feeling her upsetness, how she trimming rough, and I was feeling myself uncomfortable. She did not trim me well. I can not recommend her if you looking nice haircut.

I hate to rate this place lowly, because when I have been able to get haircuts here, the experience was good. However, twice this week I came here during normal business hours to find the location closed due to staffing issues. Ownership needs to get itself together. If you can’t pay staff a fair enough wage to want to work at your location, customers like myself will go elsewhere. Ownership is obviously not doing enough to take care of customers’ needs.
