2nd time to this location. I like to check-in online and find it’s an easier way to get in line. Always greeted warmly when checking in. So far hasn’t taken too long of a wait once I get in to get seated for my hair cut. Hair stylist is always warm, friendly and masked up. She did everything I asked for and did it with ease, quickness. There’s not much to take off so doesn’t take long. Courtesy of asking if she has done everything was there anything else. She needed to tidy up some tall hairs on the top and we were good to go. Always a pleasant experience and keeps me coming back. Thanks!

Went to get my 9 year his hair cut the lady had a horrible attitude from the gate I could not even go back with him because her daughter was in the chair spinning playing on it yes the hair dressers daughter! So I could not go back with my 9 year son the one getting the hair cut. So he comes up it’s totally uneven she barley cut any off the top and the sides are hacked I asked if the other women in the store could fix it instead because of her attitude when I told her it wasn’t what I wanted. The other lady did his hair 3 weeks ago and it came out great I said do what you did last time she acted as if she didn’t remember and asked if I wanted off the top I said yes do what you think she said no I’m not going to do what I think because last time you let her do what she thought it wasn’t good enough. Needless to say the whole experience was awful for me and my child it is a shame because it is close and convenient for me to take both of my sons when they need a cut but after today I will never go back.

I got an awful hair cut here. I had asked for half an inch off my ends and face framing for my grown out bangs. The woman took at least 2 inches off all over, and completely butchered my hair around my face. My hair looks like blocky ledges around my face, it’s so disheartening. The stylist didn’t listen to what I wanted and clearly couldn’t produce a decent haircut. Beware.

Original post: DONE, DONE, DONE. Went in with hair almost to my waist, left with hair barely past my shoulders. Asked for four inches to be trimmed. Showed with my finger and thumb how much. Longest hair on the floor was closer to six inches, then lots of shorter cuts. Then she proceeded to argue that she cut 3-4″, then it was 4-5″ and tried explaining how long an inch is (like it’s different in her world than in reality). She went on to say, “My middle finger is three inches long” Can’t be undone, but karma dear, karma. Update 4/17: Spoke with the general manager today. She is working with me on this issue. Thank you very much! The BEST news is that Kayla, who has been cutting my hair for years still works at Great Clips! I hadn’t seen her at the shop since Feb. 2020. Her schedule changed sometime during this past year or so. Which is why I hadn’t been seeing her when I would pass by looking to get my hair trimmed. In hindsight, I should have called… My hair would still be long. Highly recommend Kayla! She respects her customers and gives them what they ask for.

This place has some good barbers. I’ve had a good experience every time, and my wife likes the results better than Supercuts. Very convenient as well, of you live in the Dormont/Brookline/Beechview area.
