I’ve been growing my hair out for a hour a year now and I have medium length thick curly hair. My stylist was Dee and she sat me down and asked if it was clippers or scissors cut to which I respond with scissors since I didn’t want a buzz cut I was trying to grow out my afro and I just wanted the back matched up with the sides. After I responded with that I heard her click her tongue and that was an immediate red flag, she then partially wet my hair which curly hair has to be really wet to cut and then proceeded to cut it to different lengths and even cut the front and top. Needless to say I now need that buzz cut because there is no recovering in my hair at this moment… I wish I got the other stylist because she was at least gave the other guy a consultation before stating to cut his hair.

I’ve consulted with 2 licensed stylists before leaving this review.I took my boyfriend to get an ear length hair cut. I showed “Cathy” what he wanted via an old picture (from a professional!). The length came out three different lengths. The base of his head looked like he was going for a mullet! The crown of his head has a strand that is two inches too long and right below his ears was too long. My boyfriend has a cowlick but the hair at the top of his head is going in two different directions.*Disclaimer: we DID use a coupon but the stylist didn’t know it until the end while she checked us out. This is a good place to get a quick reasonable haircut. The prices are good, usually under $20 for an adult, and the stylists do a decent job. I brought my children here many times, especially when they need a haircut at the last minute. The Stylists are usually friendly, and there’s usually not long to wait. There’s even an online app that you can check in with. We would definitely recommend this if you are just getting a quick in-and-out haircut.
