I decided to try this salon for a desperately needed haircut with Mackenzie and she was wonderful. She listened to everything I wanted and delivered! I was so happy I scheduled a root touch up with her the following week and it turned out perfectly matched. I will be going back in January for a foil with her and frankly can’t wait.

I had full-foil service and my hair did not turn out right nothing like picture shown to the stylist. Blonde highlights turned grey and the low lights were dull and barley show. Contacted Gingerbay and talked to the stylist took her a week to return a call to me. Then spoke to manager and I was told they could put a different toner on and that’s it. They refused to add any foils to front where there were none. They stated “I could return in 6 weeks if I wanted another full foil and full pay”. I have never had a stylist or salon refuse to correct their work. I will never go back to this salon nor will I recommend it any of my friends. Stay away from this place they will just take your money and not stand by their work!!!!

Was scheduled for a Saturday appointment at 11:30- flying out of town the next day at 5am. When I arrived, was told it was scheduled for Sunday and that they couldn’t do anything about it. Customer service definitely didn’t align with what I would expect when I’m willing to pay a premium for a haircut. Mistakes happen, but I would have expected a better response than essentially, “Sorry, not our problem.”

You pay extra here, but if you schedule with a senior stylist, it’s totally worth it. Great customer service. “Color Bar” for a glass of wine if you’ve had a tough day. You gotta go! Plus, the interior of the salon is beautiful!

I was asked which was more important, color or cut, because she only had time for one even though I’ve had my appointment scheduled for weeks. After making the decision of color, she then proceeded to tell me that the type of coloring would take too much time as well. I ended up getting an all over color (over my highlights) making my hair color look washed out and dull. Anyone who schedules a stylist in STL knows you can’t get into anyone last minute so getting it fixed before my professional pic day is impossible. I was asked which was more important, color or cut, because she only had time for one even though I’ve had my appointment scheduled for weeks.
