Hannah did my hair for the first time a couple of weeks ago and got the look I wanted spot on!! Everyone was really nice and welcoming. If you’re worried about a non-inclusive salon look no further because the girls here are amazing and so kind. I’ve never felt more welcomed as a heavy set woman in a salon. Polite, friendly service from the moment you walk through the doors. Pleasant atmosphere and a spacious setup for the hair salon. Comfortable waiting room – kid-friendly as well. While I’ve only ever made use of their hair cut and brow wax services, I’ve been going to them for almost twenty years since my mother recommended them, and they’ve only gotten better with time. I always come away satisfied with the work of my usual stylist, Amy, getting my hair to look the way I envision; explaining what she is doing to my hair and why and what styles could our couldn’t work with my hair, face, and body type; and giving tips and tricks on hair care and styling. Since it is a higher-end salon the price is a definitely higher than a quick $10 cut, but if you’re willing to pay a bit more, then you’ll find the service worth it.

Just got a shampoo, hair cut, and brow wax. Michaela was super friendly and did a great job! My brows are even and actually look the same unlike most places that just wax around the edges to clean them up. She didn’t even complain about how incredibly thick my hair is! Definitely going back! Receptionists were so awesome and friendly as well.

I love this place! I have 2 daughters and I can’t leave at home so they come right along with me! They love it there they have hot chocolate coloring books to keep them entertained while I get my hair done! I love the coffee and tea, the staff, their decor, their new line of products! Going to Genesis is like a mini vacation. From the minute you walk in the door, you feel pampered. At the front desk, Jenny welcomes you and asks if she can get you something to drink. Their waiting room and salon are always decorated beautifully. I see Leslie, who knows my hair and knows what looks best for my face and coloring. Many times I tell her to surprise with with cut and color and I’ve never been disappointed.
