This has been my go to place for the past 4yrs. I’m always satisfied with my haircut. I don’t mind driving from Alamo over to Mission because my barber always does a great job (HERB). I do recommend this place. I find that it’s best to pick your barber and set up appointments.

23rd street papi chulo’s sux! I had always gone to get my hair done in this location and all of my cousins but the owner treated me like he didn’t want to cut my hair and had me come in 2 days. My cousin was also turned away. The lady seemed to be more interested in talking on the phone and others instead of doing her work. Chale con ustedes!

First time visiting. The worst customer service ever. We waited for 30 minutes, and we were never acknowledged. Finally had to ask the 4 barbers, to be told that they were not going to be available. As new customers, we would at least expect to be told when entering that there was no availability till another hour or so and not have to wait for 30 minutes. Also, one barber took a walk in before us, knowing we had been waiting. Didnt expect to be treated rudely at the end as we were leaving, just for asking as if we should already know how the barber shop works.

I went on a Sunday around 2 oclock. We waited for an hour to get seen. They did a good job on my sons haircut and he liked it and wants to go there again. Next time ill go early so we dont have to put aside 2 hours for a haircut. This is a popular spot for mens haircuts with styling fades.

I sent my 15 year old by himself while I waited with my small girls in the car. They told my son they took appointment so he waited and waited for almost 2 hours. Other guys were just walking in and taking them in quickly. They ignored my son and he walked out upset because he was waiting for almost 2 hours for nothing. I feel bad for sending him on his own. But this guys should be fair and treat everyone with respect and fairness.

I go in today (Sunday before the first day of school) we had a 1:30 appt with Ken and instantly don’t receive a greeting from anyone. it turns out there were two people in front of us. We end up getting our haircut over an hour later. It was so hot in there and didn’t even bother to turn down the A/C there was even a lady fanning herself with a piece of paper. That’s how hot it was. So were finally getting the haircut for our son. The haircut is almost done and one of the barbers yells out saying ” Oh its going to be 25 today” i was shocked to hear that only because there wasn’t no paper on the door that said something about a 25 dollar haircut. we normally pay 15 with a 5 dollar tip. So ken is finally done with the haircut (he does a good job with it honestly) and then i went on to tell him about my experience and hes firm about it being 25. I told him i wont make a big deal about it because then the other clients will do what i’m doing. I tell him there was no paper stating it was 25. He goes on to tell me that it was posted on their page. I said were not following their page and he insisted its still 25. It was hot, no greeting, no sign on the door about a price change, didn’t keep my appt and there no sign in sheet. There was little teenage boy that kept getting cut in front of and never said anything probably cause he was scared. They had to ask the clients who was next. How ridiculous that is. My wife and i only go cause of our son but i myself was a client for a long time until i found out how they run things. I hope they step it up in some way. Management is bogus.
