GAVALI SALON is a full service hair salon offering services for men, women and children. We offer women’s, men’s and children’s hair cuts, colors and chemical/keratin treatments as well as makeup applications, special event and bridal party styling. We specialize in advanced coloring, glazing, highlighting, balayage, foilayage, cutting, styling, extensions and more! We currently have 4 levels of pricing along with 4 levels of stylists starting at an associate entry level, junior, senior and master level. If you have any questions regarding our pricing or services, please contact us through phone during our normal business hours at 1-888-444-7071. For new clients, we recommend scheduling over the phone.

The first time I went, I had one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received. The 2nd time I was told my stylist wasn’t available but that another master stylist, Claudia, was just as good. My angles were supposed to be cut about 4 inches below my chin. Claudia accidentally cut the front of my hair like a flat stair. She spent an hour trying to fix it and it was uneven every time so she asked another stylist to intervene. My angles ended up by my nose. Without asking my money was returned since it was obvious my hair has been messed up so badly. A month later, I still can’t find a way to style my hair down and feel good about it.

I’ve gone to way too many places for my hair, I don’t consider myself a very picky person but no one I tried seemed to do what I asked. Gavali salon is the only one that had me walking out genuinely blown away. They are fast, they are affordable and most of all incredibly talented. Helena did my hair and can’t say enough good things about her and my results. I know other people that go there and see other girls and they’re all amazing. I’m done looking. I had my hair cut and colored by Bella and she took time to listen to me, talk about what I wanted, and kept me in the loop every second of the way. She was so kind and professional. I do love the vibe and people at this salon everyone is very friendly and it’s clean. However I went for just a glaze about a week ago and was not happy when I got home. I looked at the back of my head and there was spots that were completely missing color. It was really noticeable. And when I first booked the appointment I didn’t schedule a blow dry because I live close and can do it myself but while she was washing my hair she asked if I wanted it dried and since it was raining out I said sure. It was the most rushed blow dry I have ever had she didn’t even use a round brush it was just a brush attachment or something on the blow dryer. She was literally ripping through my hair I almost told her to stop halfway through. It was so flat I could have done a better job myself. She told me her next client was early and I feel that’s why she rushed my blow dry-which I didn’t even really need in the first place. I was so disappointed. I did not feel like an important paying customer at all especially for what is charged for a blow dry. Ridiculous. I have washed my hair once since then to try and preserve the color and it’s just so blotchy. Really disappointed.

A friend recommended Gabby to fix my hair color about 18 months ago and I won’t go anywhere else. Gabby is often booked months in advance so I started seeing Helena who is also an excellent colorist. I’ve never left disappointed. The new space is beautiful, front staff is great when I’ve needed to reschedule, and parking is easy. Gavali is located in downtown Fairfield – a great area to walk around in before and after appointments.
