I took my son here after our normal hairdresser wasn’t available at our normal place. And WOW- we will not be going anywhere else again. Mr.Paul’s attention to detail is the best I have seen. He is courteous and does a great job. His prices are fair and my son is very happy. I am so glad the barber shop is under new management- It’s nice to have a quality barber shop on this side of town.

Paul took over this business after the barber I had used for years finally retired. I will admit that I was a bit nervous trying out a new barber as I always get a Flat Top cut and finding someone that actually knows how to do one properly is getting harder and harder to do. However, I decided to give Paul a shot figuring the hair will grow back anyway, and I’m very glad that I did. He does it the old school way, freehand, and not relying on gimmicks or tools to get the job done. He is very good at what he does and is very easy to talk to. He did a great job on my cut and I left very pleased. So much so that I just went back today to have it touched up after 2 weeks. Even with others waiting their turn you can tell that all his attention is on you and giving you the best cut possible.

Got a great cut at Galaxy. I walked in to find Paul, practicing his bass guitar. The vibe is chill, and there is a cool Nacho Libre Poster on the wall. My son and I were in desperate need of haircuts and decided to try Galaxy Cut and Shave because it is closer to our home than our usual. We all know the feeling of walking in to a new barber shop and getting that “who are these guys” look. This wasn’t the case at Galaxy. The moment you walk in you can feel the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There was open conversation just like a barber shop should have and good music playing in the background. Usually it takes a few visits to get it right when you change barbers but these lads knocked it out of the park the first time. I was well impressed and my wife loved my sons cut. Galaxy is our spot from now on.
