The manicurist I typically saw, Amy, was absolutely wonderful and always did an extraordinary job. However, the owners, Kevin and Vicky, were so disrespectful and rude. They have proven, on several accounts, that they share no appreciation for LOYAL customers. It’s a shame as I know many people who have stopped coming to G Nails for this reason alone.

They are unreasonable people and treat their customers like dirt. I WAS a loyal customer for 5 years and now I will never go there again. They expect you to tip them over 30%… 20% isn’t enough for them. If you do not tip 30% and they remember they now tell you you are no longer welcomed back. They have a very poor business practice. They act like they are the queen of nail salons…. there are way better and nicer nail places than this one. There are way better places for cheaper and that actually treat you right. I do not recommend going here.

So this wasn’t necessarily my experience, but my wife’s. She ended up going to the salon for 2 to 3 months prior to just recently leaving. Jason typically did her nails, but on the most recent occasion it was someone completely different. Which typically isn’t too big of a deal, however the tech proceeded to grind her nails down all the way to her natural nail. To than tell her she needed a new set because it was apparently “lifting”. Which she was being talked about the entire time as well… just not in a way she could understand. So when pressed about who could’ve put on her set so horribly to cause the issues that were happening, she abruptly told them that that salon and in fact Jason is the one who did it. She literally left in tears, but not before being charged $10 for the removal of the set that she had and the free cuts she got all over her hands from the techs tools. Rest assured, she won’t be back.
