Critical: Quality, ValueI’ve been to this salon once before for a brow wax and hair trim and had no problems. I got what I wanted for a reasonable price. However, I didn’t have that same experience today. I went in for a brow wax and hair trim. The trim was fine but the hairdresser was very rough when washing my hair and putting mousse in. It hurt. And the wax was horrible. I asked for “minimal clean up” on my brows which is what I ask for at every salon and have never had a problem. I have naturally thick brows and they shape my face nicely and I just want the edges cleaned up. Well I no longer have thick brows. She waxed off most of the ends of my brows and now my brows look like uneven commas. The shape is extremely unflattering and she took off WAY more than I asked for. The wax and trim took at maximum 20 minutes all together and I had to pay 52$ total. For the time and quality of the services this is an absurd price. 52$ for 20 min and a horrible wax job. Critical: QualityI made an appointment for a pedicure and manicure. We are traveling so I am not from the area. The appointment was made on Thursday for 2:00.the next day. There is no ability to cancel 24 hours in advance . I had to cancel the appointment and did so Friday AM . My issue is that my appointment was not confirmed until after I canceled and there was not a 24 hour time frame since the appointment was made the day before. If the appointment had been confirmed, I wouldn’t have a problem with being charged half of the price but I canceled before an actual confirmation was sent. I made an appointment for a pedicure and manicure. We are traveling so I am not from the area. The appointment was made on Thursday for 2:00.the next day. There is no ability to cancel 24 hours in advance . I had to cancel the appointment and did so Friday AM .
