I came in for a mani/pedi, it was 4 people in there and got the pedicure, no problem. As I was getting my pedicure, people started coming in cause it was around 5:00pm and I’m assuming people was getting off work. I’m the only black woman in there and I’m saying that because the women that came in after me and that was there before me were white and when they seated me for the manicure the woman walked away and started working on the two white women that came in after me while I was getting my pedicure. I waited for ten minutes, which I didn’t have to do, and had to ask if someone was coming to finish me. The woman who sat down to give me my manicure had a nerve to have an attitude because I spoke up. When I paid for it, she really had an attitude cause I didn’t tip. And I am usually a good tipper cause I know if I get a good service, tip for it but I didn’t expect Asian people to be racists at this time.

If you’re looking for nail art this is not the place. Even if you show them the picture they will still mess it up. The ATM doesn’t work often. The customer service is slow and horrible. After receiving bad customer service the lady ASKED me for a tip. A tip is for good service and you’re not supposed to ask for a tip. Also, they will get smart with you if you’re not satisfied with your nail service.

I used to get my nails done here, but I began noticing the fact that white clients get assisted before the black clients even though they had arrived first please note that these are all walk in clients! And looking at the current reviews clearly shows that Racism is trending at Fiji Nails & Spa. I hope more people will see this review before walking in to this business place! This review includes the Fiji Nails & Spa in Ardmore & Havertown. To the staff & management you’ll should be ashamed of the acts of racism!

If you love yourself— Do NOT COME HERE. I came for a gel pedicure with my sister, and it was the worst pedicure experience I’ve ever had. The lady kept using the drill on my skin after telling her it hurt. She put some cuticle gel on my toes that burned terribly and was not listening when I told her it was hurting. I told her I wanted white. She started to paint them pink. The water was lukewarm, and when adding more water, it was burning hot. She cracked my big toe across the middle, and they do not adequately sanitize their tools. This is my first and last time visiting this terrible salon. My sisters nails were uneven after repeatedly asking for them to be straightened out.

I’ve been going here occasionally for many years, and the service has always been acceptable but nothing special. I went in the other day for a manicure and I have to say, I was really impressed! The service was very professional and friendly enough, although they don’t waste much time with small talk (which personally I like). The woman who did my nails was very attentive and did a great job. They have nice, comfortable chairs at the drying machine and overall a clean space.

Salon is very nice, however it is quite tacky to stand in a customer’s face and ask for a tip. The services aren’t cheap and a customer don’t have to tip. I love my nails but pedicure is mediocre because she didn’t not scrub or massage enough. For that reason I won’t be returning. Them begging for tips was a major turn off. It would also be nice if they spoke in English more

Went Saturday for powder dip. 3 days later 2 nails chipped. 2 more days later 5 nails are chipped. Nail tech only did the white powder base coat 1 time. This is not my regular salon. Every time I try this place it never turns out good. Now I have to get my nails done again. Can I get a refund? This service cost too much for it not to last atleast 2 weeks. Only go here if you have no other choice.
