Fatou African Hair Braiding

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueHad an appointment with Fatou for a specific hair braiding style (photo was submitted). Arrived at my appointment time, & someone else was getting a hair braiding job that was nowhere near finish. Fatou stated her sister would be doing my hair & was aware of the style I wanted. I asked the sister if she needed to see the photo again to ensure the style would be exact & Fatou stated she (her sister) knew what I wanted—I don’t believe the sister speaks English. The style was nowhere near the style I requested. She pretty much gave me a quick braiding style of her choice & overcharged me for it. This was not my first visit to the shop, but my first disappointment. My next visit was even a more horrible experience after I wanted to provide my own hair for the style desired, but Fatou wanted me to purchase the hair they provide (which was not the color or length I wanted). I had already purchased my hair & she refused to use it. She was yelling, calling the hair cheap; that was by far cheap, & stating the braids would not look right. She then stated she would go ahead & use the hair but, charge the same price as if I was using/purchasing their hair. This was absolutely insane, & very unprofessional. I found another braiding stylest to honor my request & the style turned out beautifully. Had an appointment with Fatou for a specific hair braiding style (photo was submitted). Arrived at my appointment time, & someone else was getting a hair braiding job that was nowhere near finish.
