Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityMy first appointment with this salon, which was several weeks ago, wasn’t the best experience. My appointment was at 8:30am, I called at 8:45am and woke up the owner who was apparently asleep. I was told her Aunt was coming to get me started, I pushed through to support this African American business. The finished product wasn’t like the picture that was requested I show for the style I wanted, I didn’t monitor the size of the braids as my hair was being done, so I took the L on that one.My second appointment was today, Saturday (7/11/2020), originally scheduled for 8:30am the owner text me approximately 8:05am and asked if I would please come at 9:30am instead, I agreed, to continue to show support to this Africa American business. I get there at 9:17am was told the stylist was on her way, cool no worries, as I was technically early. So 10:00am came, still no stylist. The owner says, “she worked late last night she will be here soon.” I’m no stranger to working late, this is ABSOLUTELY inexcusable. The owner was working on someone else’s hair, but she stated to me she would start on mine too and go back and forth between the 2 of us ( her client and me) until my stylist came in, this isn’t what I expected and not how you do business. SO I LEFT and I will not go back. My first appointment with this salon, which was several weeks ago, wasn’t the best experience. My appointment was at 8:30am, I called at 8:45am and woke up the owner who was apparently asleep. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueBraids way too tight. How they braid breaks of your hair. Braiding tight doesn’t not mean long lasting and neat. Braiding tight lead a lot of client with damage hair especially around hairline. The price isn’t bad but still high would recommend them.
