I visited Exotic Nails & Spa for the first time two days ago and got a regular pedicure. The space is pleasant and clean. Trinh was playing jazz as the ambient music, there was a quiet TV on with local news, and the drying area has free Dum Dum lollipops and small bottles of water. I had an appointment and when I arrived, Trinh was just finishing up a manicure for another customer. While she apologized for taking me a little bit late, it was still within 5 minutes of my appt time, so no worries there. I feel like the pedicure itself struck the correct balance between efficient but not feeling rushed. She asked me how I wanted my nails cut and she asked me if I wanted the cheese grater used on my feet (I did not; not my thing). Interestingly, she used a cuticle cutter to cut my nails, but the end result was great. And she was very careful with the nail polish; my nails came out looking absolutely perfect. All in all, I was very very happy, and will definitely be returning to Exotic Nails & Spa.

My FAVORITE nail salon. Trinh is amazing, friendly, sweet and pays great attention to detail. She is truly a gem. The salon has protocols in place that they take seriously while managing to multitask and take care of their customers with limited capacity. I recommend making an appointment so you ensure you have a spot!

I was very upset with T rudeness and non caring attitude towards me. She was angry when I had a problem with my nail dip color “ not my fault” she said .. well my color was nothing as she told me to look at samples. I understand that the color can’t always be right .. I had a great experience. I made a last minute appointment and was seen within 15 min of my appointment time. They were very apologetic for running late and very friendly. I had a basic pedicure ($28) which included exfoliating scrub and hot stone massage. Overall very satisfied.

I have been coming to Trinh every month for a manicure for 7 years now (and for a pedicure and waxing services a few times a year). I have moved multiple times from Watertown to Cambridge to Dorchester to Jamaica Plain and I continue to return to her. I will not go anywhere else! She keeps the place spotless, is always in a good mood, and she is a perfectionist. She won’t let you leave if your nails are not perfect.
