I purchased a wax pass, which had been pretty convenient. Today I was too sick to go to my appointment so I called the store to let them know. I looked up the phone number on Google because I didn’t have it saved to my phone. I ended up getting a voicemail that said “Thank you for calling European Wax Center at River Park. An associate can’t come to the phone, please leave a message “. So…..I leave a message stating that I’m too sick to make my appointment along with my phone number. A few hours later I received a text saying I was being penalized for a no call, no show. I text back and explained but they pretty much called me a liar. I even sent a screen shot of my call to their store with the time stamp on it. Apparently because I didn’t call the number from the text it’s my fault. That’s horrible customer service.

Called in to make an appointment on the same day, Bree took my call, very professional and pleasant to speak with. The process was very easy, provided my name, number and email. At the appointment I was immediately greeted by lovely staff, the waxing service I received was not painful, my waxer talked me through the entire procedure, she was very educated. I will recommend this to friends and family. And your first wax is free!

Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been coming to this place for a long time but my last appt I had a bad experience with the front desk and it just ruined it for me. I came 5 min early to my appt and they told me to sit down they’ll be right with me. I understood because one was on the phone and the other with a guest checking out. However after the lady got off the phone she didn’t ask to help me/check me in. 3 guests walked in AFTER me and both ladies (even the one that was helping a client pay) proceeded to help them out and get them checked in. I waited patiently but now it is 10 min after my appt time until I finally got up and asked them if they can help me now.
