My hair was heat damaged, dry, and extremely frizzy from my previous stylist. Which was so upsetting because I spent TWO years growing it out. With my first visit, I can already tell that I’m in good hands with Ada. She listener to my concerns and gave me this wonderful protein treatment that helped tamed the frizz. Then gave me the perfect hair cut to chop all those fried ends without cutting off any healthy hair. I was suprised that I had so much length left over…I thought I was going to be bald. I left the salon with a sense of renewal with professional stylist.

Positive: ProfessionalismI am giving ADA 5 stars for her professionalism and for her great customer service. I wanted my daughters hair blown out for a dance and made an appointment with Ada. She was willing to come in early to preform the service as she was booked all day and my daughters dance was only a few days away. My daughter had other plans for her hair (she is 16) so we had to cancel our apt with Ada but she was very understanding and she said we were always welcome in her shop. I am giving ADA 5 stars for her professionalism and for her great customer service. I wanted my daughters hair blown out for a dance and made an appointment with Ada. She was willing to come in early to preform the service as she was booked all day and my daughters dance was only a few days away. I have natural hair..no chemicals. I needed a color and a friend suggested Ada. I am so glad I followed her advice. I first went to Ada for a color treatment. Usually, I color my hair dark brown. However, I was feeling as though it was time for a change and decided to go with highlights. Ada did an absolutely amazing job. She was thoughtful, considerate of my needs and wants, explained every step to me along the way, and used the most amazing products. My hair is gorgeous. So, buoyed by the experience, I went back a week later for a cut. Now, let me say I have had really bad experiences with hairstylists who claim they can cut a nice pixie cut, only to have my hair butchered. Since I am African-American with no ability to speak Spanish, and even though Ada speaks both Spanish and English, I took a friend with me who is fluent in Spanish just in case I needed to have some serious translation activity. Well, no need. Ada gave me the absolute BEST pixie cut I have ever had. In fact, I had to encourage her to cut it even shorter than she initially wanted to. My hair is stunning. The color is perfect, the cut is wonderful. I am officially hooked on Escape Salon and Ada. And, I’ve convinced my husband, who LOVES my hair, to give Pedro a try for his cut. Love this gorgeous hair salon and Ada is a jewel.

Ada is absolutely the best stylist I’ve ever had. When I first moved to the area, it was hard to find stylist willing to take a risk on my natural hair. Many salons said if my hair wasnt naturally straightened, they could not do anything with it. And when I did find someone, she was inconsistent and did not give my hair the TLC it needed. Thank God for Ada and her magic with a blow dryer. She takes time with each and every one of her customers. You will not leave her salon disappointed. I take my daughter here as well. I love how she is able to straighten my her natural hair without over using heat.
