Amazing service that I experienced at this nail salon. The nail tech was a perfectionist for making sure that my nails were well done. She cleaned all of my nail cuticles up/took off all dead skin. Such a disappointment and dissatisfaction. I walked into this establishment today at appox., 1:00 noon an made an appointment for 5:00pm, although they offered to service me at the time of arrival. To note, there weren’t any customers being serviced, hmm. I’ve visit there before, due to my daughter’s choice of nail salon for pedicure. I called them at appox 4:45pm to confirm and to give a courtesy that I was on my way. All was good. I walked in at approx., 4:54pm, again no customers other than me. I was seated and asked to pick my color. Two nail technicians began working on my feet and nails. About 10 min into helping me, a white couple, male and female walked in, and they apparently knew her because they greeted her, “ Long time no see”, blah, blah, blah. The female indicated that she was somewhat lost but managed to find them and didn’t know if they were open because it was after 5pm. The women’s who was on my feet began to give instructions to the other young lady and then there was one. She did a fair job on my polish change but jacked my nails up. When I respectfully advised her of irregular shapes, bubbles in my nail color and the acrylic was uneven and thick in some areas of my nails, the manager, who stated she couldn’t fix them because she doesn’t do acrylic nails, BS. I refused to accept that and asked to wait for the one who initially was working with me before more money entered the salon without an appointment. Another customer arrived, who had an appointment at 5:30 and was made to wait, she was seen at 5:45. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting and getting excuses. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially since prices have skyrocketed, practically doubled since the pandemic. I refused to pay, after being there for over an hour. I suggested paying for my nail polish, which they agreed, and I left very disappointed, why were they five mail technician their and only two able to do nails? Needless to say, I will never go back to this unprofessional non caring’s greedy nail salon that shows less concern for those who make appointments. Run? You’ve been warned.

Ever since I was a young woman, I have been to sooo many different salons through the years. This is by far the most cost efficient, most friendly and talented salon I have been to. Monica was always my favorite to go to but I have been helped by other ladies and they’re always very friendly and do a great job. Lee has since become my new fav for how efficient she is! I will usually get pedicures and gel manicures which always last a long time. Never had a problem with chipping or peeling. They always take time to get to know me and make sure to do my nails as requested. Love these ladies!! Highly recommend!!! Just attached a picture of my manicure done 2 weeks ago still intact, no chipping or peeling!!! Definitely grown out long and due for a visit but proof of Lee’s amazing work!

I set up an appointment for three mani pedis, four pedicures, and one pedicure plus full set of nails. This place handled us all wonderfully. They have kids’ services which includes the tub soak for feet; I’ve taken our girls to other salons that have refused that, leaving the girls disappointed. At Elk Grove Nails, they felt included and happy.
