Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityVery disappointed by the unprofessional and untimely conduct of Alex, my barber. He started 25 minutes late. The first 5 minutes that I was in the chair, he was on Instagram! I didn’t say anything, because I was faced away from him and his body was covering his phone. I assumed he was preparing, and by the time I leaned over and caught sight of his screen (he was watching videos in his feed), he was ready to start. A few mins later, he stopped cutting for 2-3 minutes, and I called him out for looking at Instagram. He claimed he was posting something for his business, but I told him that it was unprofessional and that he should be doing that later.Anyway, he finished cutting my hair, but missed several details, because he moved too fast. See photos for the major mistakes.When I paid, I was unlikely to leave a tip at all, except he was looking at the screen as I paid. He got $1.00.I will be going to someone else to fix it.This was my second visit to this shop. Last time, the other barber was over 15 minutes late, but I was happy to give the benefit of the doubt. I would have given Alex a 1 star review, but my haircut from last time looked nice, so they earned a second star. Very disappointed by the unprofessional and untimely conduct of Alex, my barber. He started 25 minutes late. The first 5 minutes that I was in the chair, he was on Instagram! I didn’t say anything, because I was faced away from him and his body was covering his phone. What’s the point of setting an appointment if all it’s going to do is get moved or cancelled. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and I’ve found a new barbershop to go to but it’s unfortunate that even appointments don’t mean anything. In a time crunch made an appointment with Booksy for the following morning. Get there and barber who was supposed to cut my hair out sick. Not a problem things happen. Would have been nice to get a phone call or message telling me so I didn’t come all the way there. No one offered to fit me in no one even offered an apology. Bad customer service.
