Ok so my first time I received a pedicure , service was phenomenal in fact I loved the white gel they used on my toes .. I can honestly say my toes looked really good . However the second time I visited , it was only 2 ppl working and they were already working on customers the nail tech sitting in the front yelled at me upon entering across the room ,” Ma’am we cannot do your nails today as we already have customers booked and are coming in as we speak … I noticed the Caucasian customer she was working on who turned around once and kept her back turned towards me nodding her head in agreeance to what was being told to me . I felt offended , I do feel like if I were a Caucasian woman the message wouldn’t have been delivered to me in that manner . Anywho , I’ll just go back to my original nail salon who offers a more luxurious experience , fast service , high quality ..full bar etc . It’s called Grand Lux nails located on westheimer and dunvale for anyone reading this looking for a really good nail salon with great service ! This saddens me because I originally enjoyed my pedicure and only stay 1 minute away.. oh well this nail salon doesn’t deserve my money or me as a customer anyways in which I know they don’t care but here’s my review guys

The workers here are absolutely rude and i’m I’m truly dissapointed in the way they just made me feel so disrespected. I WALKED to the shop without making a prior appointment and when i walked in and asked for a pedicure there was one lady already helping someone and another lady whom said she had an appointment coming. I say very politely, “that’s okay, can I wait, because I walked here?” This woman said no. . .

It was empty when I went in, I was warmly greeted. I like the atmosphere, they have massage chairs and also offered me a beverage and a snack. I tried the powder on my nails for the first time. I guess the color was too light so he ended up doing acrylic on top which I was trying to avoid. If was going to do acrylic I would have gotten my normal length. The pedicure was nice, she took her time. She used hot stones for the massage and the hot towels. I wish the massage was longer, but overall it was a good experience.

I saw the bad reviews for this place but decided to give it a try because it’s near my boyfriend’s house (and a great taco place). It was a Saturday afternoon, but I was seated right away. The interior is nice, and the lady was super sweet, but my manicure is really awful. The color is streaky, and she got polish all over my cuticles (which was extra sad because it was my cuticles that actually brought me in for professional help in the first place). It is now Thursday, and the polish has already pulled off of three nails. The price wasn’t terrible but I can typically squeeze two weeks out of a gel manicure unless I do it myself, so from that perspective, it was three times too much. I don’t have time to go back there to complain and hope they fix it, so I thought I’d warn their next potential victim in hopes they look a little further up the street. I wish I had.

In 2017 I decided to start living a nontoxic nail polish life. I purchased my own top, base, and nail colors Target’s defy & INSPIRE line (feet) which they used with no problem. They were able to match the dipped nails perfectly (hands) which is a non toxic alternative to acrylic.

I’ve had good experiences for eyebrow waxing here. The first time I went I also got a full set and they weren’t great, a few were crooked. I decided to give them another try since this place is so close to my home. Jennifer did my second full set and she did an amazing job, each nail was perfect. Obviously not all of the nail technicians can do as great a job as Jennifer did, so be sure if you want a great full set to ask for her. 🙂

My husband was working in Houston for the day & suggested this nail salon right across from his office. I walked in & was greeted by a very smiling, friendly staff. I had a manicure & pedicure done. This is the absolute BEST mani/pedi I’ve ever had!! I will definitely return when I’m in Houston again!!!

I called on a Sunday. They told me they could take me in 30 minutes. I showed up 30 minutes later. They then told me 10 minutes. After 30 minutes they FINALLY started on me. I complained to the technicians about the wait. Two other women in the salon said they always wait 1/2 hour to an hour. I won’t go back. There are so many nail salons on every corner, they can put up with me but I don’t have to!
