Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueAre you a person with textured hair? Do you enjoy having it ripped out in chunks by a comb attachment to a blow dryer? Do you want to be the ONLY person leaving with semi wet trashy looking hair? If so this is completely the place for you. My stylist was rude, crude and aggressive. She made faces behind me as if there wasn’t a mirror I could see her in. She also dropped the comb attachment on the floor and didn’t even clean it off before using it to rip some more hair out of my head. My hair wasn’t even dry and looked trashy. When I asked about her using a brush she rolled her eyes looked at another stylist and rolled her eyes again. Paying $55 to look a mess is ridiculous. I am so sorry I didn’t walk in with perfectly straight hair . I am sorry I thought you were a professional. I am so sorry I thought you could be a stylist and do your job.if your hair has any texture at all. Don’t come here they probably will rip your hair out too.Service: HairstylingAre you a person with textured hair? Do you enjoy having it ripped out in chunks by a comb attachment to a blow dryer? I made an appointment at Drybar for a wedding. I wanted a simple blow-dry with curls. I left looking like Shirley Temple….It was really bad. I had to go home, shower, and redo my hair before the wedding. I did not want to embarrass the stylist in the shop, so I quietly paid and left. I immediately called the salon to express my concern over the phone. The receptionist told me that the manager was unavailable but she took down my information. I waited for a few days and did not receive a call from the manager. I called back and the manager was unavailable again. The receptionist gave me the manager’s email address, so I sent an email, which bounced back. I am sure some of the stylists are great – my stylist was not. And the management has proven to be less than stellar. Do your research and choose the right stylist! …. Don’t blindly make an appointment.

I am at a lost for words for my latest experience at this DryBar. It HEAVILY depends on who your stylist is with the quality of your service. My hair came out worse when I left than when I came in and I was of course still charged for the service.

Worst blow out experience. The stylist was inexperienced, did not use a heat protectant, and basically permanently damaged my hair. Since I was only visiting Baltimore for a wedding, I did not have time to return or speak with the manager. Front desk was also quite rude, with zero customer service skills. Huge mistake going there. Hairstyling

This place has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Yes I’m very aware a charge is required when you don’t cancel within 12 hours. My appt was today at 1:45pm..so calling at 1am I’d get no answer. However when I called this morning and let them know I’d come in contact with someone with Covid..I was charged $25. So they would rather charge me and risk the safety of your clients to get a service. I’ll come in but what kind of business are u running and you don’t care about peoples safery.

I am a fan of DryBar and having been a client of the company itself for a few years, however I typically frequent the location in Georgetown, DC. The stylists at Rotunda location have been good however the Manager here, Sara, has left a terrible impression and for that, I don’t think I will set any appts here anytime soon.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityMy 1st experience with DryBar and I absolutely love it. When I first enter, I was greeted by 2 very nice ladies and I was seated down to decide what type of hair style I want. I went for the southern belle style and I got the style I wanted. The hair wash was amazing and comfortable. My hair was treated gently and with care. I absolutely love the results and I highly recommended Jose! Jose killed it with curls and is so sweet and kind. I definitely recommended this place for all your gorgeous blow dry and styles!Service: HairstylingMy 1st experience with DryBar and I absolutely love it. Critical: QualityI visited drybar at the rotunda for my birthday in early November and left extremely upset. The facility itself is very pretty and clean. The woman who did my hair did an excellent job washing and massaging, however when it came to blow drying it was a mess. I felt she didn’t know how to blow dry and recoil my hair back on to brush which made the process of drying my hair much longer than it needed to be. Once it was finished, I left with part of my hair towards my neck still wet. I left a review directly to drybar after the appointment and they reached out to me about my bad service. They said they would call me however they never did which is very unprofessional. I will not return to this dry bar, but I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else!Service: HairstylingI visited drybar at the rotunda for my birthday in early November and left extremely upset. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI had a rare day of self care/alone time so I booked a blow out and scalp massage and I was really looking forward to it, especially the scalp massage! When I got there it was confirmed that I was scheduled for a blowout and a scalp massage. I’d never gotten the massage before, so I wasn’t certain when in the appointment it would occur. I asssumed during the wash but instead I had the fastest hair wash I’d ever had and was immediately ushered to the chair and straight to blow drying. So then I thought it would happen after the blow dry but she went immediately to curls. Never once speaking to me, other customers were being offered beverages and I was never offered one. I felt like a disembodied head of hair; I definitely wasn’t treated like a whole person. Actually, it was extremely awkward and uncomfortable to be ignored while my haIr was being worked on. And it was so rushed, I was done before all the others started before me and the scalp massage never happened. This wouldn’t have been a big deal, I understand that things happen but it was never even acknowledged that she forgot to do it. She just went over to the check out and whispered something to them. When I checked out I asked what I was being charged for and she said for a blow out. I mentioned that I was also scheduled for a scalp massage and she said I wasn’t being charged for that. I asked why it didn’t happen and she said she didn’t know. No explanation, no apology. I deserve the common courtesy of at least an acknowledgement of the oversight but an apology would gave been great. They did not care that I was confused and disappointed. And if my hair looked great, I probably wouldn’t have minded about the oversight, but for $55 it was just ok. My curls quickly deflated, I had a halo of fly away frizz and I had to ask for root spray. I do not recommend this place due to poor customer service, mediocre hair styling and general disrespect.Service: HairstylingI had a rare day of self care/alone time so I booked a blow out and scalp massage and I was really looking forward to it, especially the scalp massage!
